Am i getting or is @Tesco just the best place in the world!

Really good outlet with lots of space for shopping - even when it's busy it doesn't feel too hectic or claustrophobic. Online shopping orders are executed efficiently and any minor problems are resolved promptly. They have a great little Holland and Barrett with really helpful staff inside. The home-ware department stocks quality (on trend) items at competitive prices. I picked up a beautiful little soap dish and decanter a lot cheeper than anything I could find of a similar value online (and much prettier - in my own opinion). I think it came to about £10 all together which is extremely reasonable - they look outstanding against a green backdrop. I definitely recommend to family and friends.

Went to this place and unlike other supermarkets only one adult is allowed inside. I had 2 children with me and my wife so I didn't bother to go in. I've been to this place before and it was all fine when this company wanted to make money in December 2020. No restrictions at that time but now this. If this is the rule then it shouldn't change whenever some festive period is around. When its Easter 2021 they will lift restrictions again to make money. I will stick to Morrisons and Asda. It's not as if this place is cheap anyways.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tesco Extra in Kingston Park, and I must say the service I received at both the shop and the cafe was truly outstanding. Tesco has always been known for its commitment to customer satisfaction, and this particular branch exemplified that reputation with its exceptional service.

Firstly, the staff at the shop were friendly, helpful, and attentive. From the moment I entered the store, I was greeted with warm smiles and a willingness to assist. Whenever I had a question or needed help locating an item, the employees went above and beyond to provide the information I needed. Their knowledge of the store's layout and product range was impressive, making the shopping experience efficient and enjoyable.

The shop itself was well-organized and neatly stocked. The shelves were well-maintained, and the aisles were clear and easily navigable. The variety and range of products available were extensive, catering to a wide range of needs and preferences. Whether I was looking for groceries, household items, or personal care products, Tesco Extra in Kingston Park had everything I needed in one convenient location.

The checkout process was smooth and efficient. The cashiers were quick and professional, ensuring minimal waiting time. They handled transactions with a friendly demeanor, adding to the overall positive experience. The self-checkout options were also available for those who preferred a faster and more independent checkout experience.

The Tesco cafe in Kingston Park was equally impressive. The staff members were attentive and provided excellent service. They promptly took orders, and the food was prepared with care and delivered in a timely manner. The menu offered a wide selection of delicious options, including hot meals, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. The quality of the food was consistently good, and the portion sizes were satisfying.

The cafe's ambiance was inviting, with comfortable seating and a pleasant atmosphere. It provided a relaxing space for customers to enjoy a meal or take a break from their shopping. The cleanliness of the cafe was notable, further enhancing the overall dining experience.

In conclusion, Tesco Extra in Kingston Park offers exceptional service both in the shop and the cafe. The friendly and helpful staff, well-organized store layout, extensive product range, efficient checkout process, and enjoyable dining experience in the cafe make it a top choice for shoppers and diners alike. If you're in the Kingston Park area and seeking great service and convenience, I highly recommend visiting Tesco Extra for a remarkable shopping and...

Absolutely appalled this evening, words can't explain how furious I am with Tesco at Kingston Park. My mum and I were out getting shopping for the first time in nearly a fortnight, I've worked four 13 hour shifts in a row over the weekend and this evening I popped out to be let into the store around 7.30pm, fill a small trolley and queue at 3 tills by 8pm. Yes, 3. I was told all 3 times that the till was closing. Understandably, as I'm sure anyone would be, a bit miffed the third time around I asked the lady at the till if she could help us, we'd done our shopping in 10 minues and waited in 3 queues - where no one seemed to be abiding by social distancing rules I might add. At which point I was told by a member of the public that they 'had homes to go to' - aware we can't do anything about those who speak for others. I was completely gobsmacked. I totally understand that people have homes to go to, we all do and not many of us want to be out of them right now, but we certainly dont want to be out of them longer because we cant be served. There was management floating around watching lines instead of telling people ahead of tills closing, surely they know their staffs finishing times and can say before you stand there for 5-10 minutes that you won't be served here? We went with our trolley and stood for a further 15 minutes at a self serve till, where the scales didn't fit our shopping and the lights started to go out. I hear behind me another man challenging the amount of tills closing and stating the amount of tills he's stood at, he was told by what looked like management staff that again, staff had homes to go to and some had been there since 8am. So I think to myself, why let people in at 7.30pm if they close at 8pm when they know tills will be closing and lines take that bit longer to go down at the moment? Why arent the stores better organised, with more staff and shorter shifts knowing that in light of the PMs speech last night, there may have been more footfall? It's not like it was a surprise, stores will have been aware like the rest of the country that something was going to ease up on Sunday night. I honestly felt like leaving the trolley. Pitiful organisation. Shocking attitude to genuine questions and honest complaints about service. To top it off, we went outside, to see a queue a mile long. I hope they didn't expect to be served any time...

I like this branch of Tesco as it's only a 10 minute walk up the road from me, it has everything under one roof and the Aldi price match is great. However I only give it 3 stars due to their customer service, or lack of it! Some of the staff are lovely, polite and friendly but I have to say that most of the staff have a tendency to be quite rude. A lot of them don't wear face masks or visors and I have to say that generally I think this branch has handled the pandemic quite poorly, they have a traffic light system but on a weekend that tends to go out the window and they just let anyone in, as a result this means the shop becomes dangerously overcrowded and you end up ducking and diving to try and stay out of everyone's way! Last May during the first lockdown, I had two members of staff telling me off all because I walked up an aisle the wrong way! I understand I was in the wrong but is there any need to try and belittle and humiliate your customers infront of everyone? The worst part about it was the fact that I suffer with extreme anxiety, I hate confrontation and when I tried to defend myself and explain my actions, other customers started joining in and defending the workers who had been shouting at me! Thankfully that was a year ago and I haven't had any issues since, but the manager who shouted at me (tall stocky built guy in striped shirt with a quiff and glasses) always looks sheepish and tries to avoid me whenever I'm shopping. Shame on you for hiring bullies...
