Nothing much to see its really a small forset nothing spectacular about here it's nice to see the ocean and Newcastle from froset as your looking back down from dornd nice tress in area I would prefer tollymore over donard forset as more to see and do the carpark at dornd Park looks like there would be something special about the this place but once you get into froset there's nothing much to expect apart from summer time weather plenty of people about,, dornrd forset can be very mucky at times far too many...

nice hike, good views, well wooded but with a clear path marked - just follow the river/stream and you can't get lost! the river seems lively enough to splash about in summer. there seem to be roads around the forest so you can drive to the end if you want to bypass the forest and start climbing slieve donard right away, but the mile or so of hiking...

Brilliant views. Quite a trek but worth it with the right footwear and clothes. Free parking at the bottom. Around 5 - 6 hours to top of Slieve Donard and back if you stop for photos and snacks.

Had a lovely morning walk to the third bridge and over to the mast. You can start a hike from here or have a stroll through the trees. It's up to you how hard to make your visit.
