We love visiting South Molton especially on the days the market is on. There is a large car park at the rear and reasonably priced too. There are usually plenty of spaces but today the cattle market was on so it was rather busy. We had a nice walk around the market and enjoyed a coffee at the hot drinks stall which also makes a range of locally baked cakes and a range of preserves too. We bought a lovely cider which was made locally too and there are a range of stalls selling beautiful plants which you don’t normally get to see. One stall was selling a rich deep purple chilli plant. There are stalls selling jewellery, pet food, household goods, knitwear, fabrics, sweets, fruit and veg and numerous others. The market was busy despite the rain and there are also toilets on the site too which are near the exit which leads to South Molton’s Main Street. It’s well worth a visit if you like little market towns.

Victorian (with a bit of Georgian thrown in) masterpiece! Stunning architecture, with twice weekly markets, and numerous other events going on through the year. When there's nothing on parking is available in it. Toilets right by the front entrance, and when activities are taking place there's a large carpark out the back, just a one minute walk away. The Thursday and Saturday markets have won Best Market in England two years running, so definitely worth a visit!

Traditional indoor country pannier market in a purpose built Victorian site : coffee shop, meat products straight from the farm, local cheeses, preserves, delicatessen, cooking spices, fresh vegetables, flowers and plants gluten free stall, silk flowers, arts and crafts, vintage books and antiques. Accessible parking. Dog friendly. Highly recommended. There is also a variety of independent stores in the town, offering gifts, fashions and vintage items.

Great market, buzzing with people. Having just two short day (8am to 1pm?) markets per week, means that people will visit knowing it's only open for short time so need to pop along to buy whatever they're after. Nice variety of stalls selling weird and wonderful stuff. Esp loved the cheese stall, which was continuously very busy and I know why, after buying several of their gorgeous cheeses!! Homemade fudge and truffles stall... omg what a treat that was!! Only criticism.. Watch out for the uneven concrete floor with a...
