Walsall Canal — Local services in Sandwell

We walk our dogs along the walsall canal from moxley road towards the grace academy, the amount of rubbish along the path and in the canal is shocking! Gets much worse when you get near a bridge or entrance. Everything from wood , old pushchairs, tyres, road cones, bikes, shopping trollys, carrier bags of rubbish, garden waste, and god knows what else , some of this must come from local residents, what is the matter with these people ?it is disgusting, im struggling to see how this canal is describe as a haven for...

The area around Bentley Green is still a disgrace. The plastic doll that was on a post (Ruby Tuesday) 3 years ago is still there...now just a doll head. There are mounds of filthy sacks of rubbish alongside the canal. The canal itself is choked with litter, plastic waste even a bike, and the bridges covered in graffiti. It could be so beautiful. There are moorhens and Canada geese swimming in...

i love riding my bike along this canal. You can find there everything! nappies,fridges, asda trolleys, old carpets, plenty of dog poo. its lovely watching ducks struggle to go through the dirt and litter. The view is unforgettable. If u are in need of a cry go there. Thanks for reading....
