Booked a party here for our 5 year old. Unfortunately, Jump In fell well short of the advertised 100% fun, 0% stress.
We initially received a confirmation email detailing the "arrival time" of the party. My OH popped in a month before to check if there was anything required from us, and she was told no.
At 1815 hours, the night before the party, we received an email with "joining instructions". In this they decide to tell us that everyone should arrive 30 mins before the start time for a safety video. Obviously, all the invites were sent out weeks beforehand. Despite being open until 2000 hours, no one answered the phone for about 2 hours, leaving my partner stressed to the max all night that none of the guests would arrive on time and the kids would lose considerable time on the trampolines.
We contacted Head Office the next morning, who were as helpful as they could be, not being on site.
Upon arrival we spoke with the manager who was apologetic, but blamed management changes on the communication failures. In fairness, they honoured the full time on the trampoline, so we got what we paid for in the end.
The first part of the party was enjoyed by the kids who basically had free roam of the facilities for an hour.
The organisation of the second half, the food part, could have been far better. They have about 7 or 8 "party tables/benches". There were 2 other parties on at the same time as ours. Instead of spacing the parties out, they crammed each one right next to one another. So parents and kids were squeezing past constantly, disturbing the other parties. Meanwhile, there are about 5 tables sitting vacant for the duration. Just a bit of common sense would have been appreciated.
They assign you a "host", who basically gives you some socks, shows you a video, then brings your cake/food.
On a positive, the food (pizza) was really tasty!!
The kids did have fun, but it certainly wasn't 0% stress for the adults!!! I'm not sure I would book...
Read moreIt seems to me that the formula of this place, the available forms of fun, and most of all the joy of the kids who spend their time there, are the most important elements that influence my high rating of "Jump In" in its basic service. Jump In Trampoline Park, apart from its basic offer, i.e. jumping on trampolines, also offers the organization of birthday parties for children. Last Sunday we made use of this option. We celebrated my youngest daughter's ninth birthday there. The event was a success despite many organizational flaws on the part of Jump In Park. Let me point out those that were evident: Everyone was asked to arrive 15 minutes early to give instruction. All participants were early, but the host assigned to us showed up after the starting time, did not give any instructions, but ordered all the children to spend 15 minutes sitting at the table idle. It's easy to imagine kids who are made to sit idly for no reason ... Two days before the deadline, I reported 3 more guests than originally ordered. This has been accepted and confirmed. After arriving at the place, we found an insufficient number of places, drinks, and plates. While booking seats, my promo code did not work. In return, I was offered an additional service that I would not have received if I had not asked for it. Summing up, I would suggest a thorough improvement of the birthday service, and proper training of employees posted to handle...
Read moreI had issues with booking tickets for Gravity, Edinburgh & somehow had managed to book tickets for Go Jump, Musselburgh, was disappointed when arriving at Gravity, Edinburgh to be told it was 'Go Jump' I had purchased tickets from, I cannot travel to Musselburgh, for my own private reasons so, was left upset at having to pay a second time, but these are different companies. However, Gareth, the manager phoned & resolved my issue as I was initially offered to reschedule our visit, which in most cases would suffice, but I genuinely cannot travel to Musselburgh & most definitely wouldn't endanger my 3 yo as for personal safety reasons I stay clear of East Lothian after explaining the unique circumstances to Gareth the manager at Go Jumo, he resolved my issue immediately & explained why Go Jumo always appears first when searching for trampoline centres, I am assuming that as Musselburgh is very close to Edinburgh when selecting the venues that this was a genuine mistake and must of booked us into the nearest venue, Gareth ensured me that I'd be fully refunded for our session which like I say I could not attend, so great customer service overall & more than pleased with...
