I stayed on Eilean Ban whilst volunteering at the visitor centre in KYLEAKIN. It was a wonderful experience having this tiny island almost to myself. Gavin Maxwell (Ring of Bright Water author)spent the last year of his life on the island and his cottage is now self catering holiday accommodation plus a small museum. Visitors can tour the island weekday afternoons if they call into the visitor centre to book. Provided you have a head for heights, you can also go up the Stevenson lighthouse to enjoy amazing views.
