Beesands is a beautiful place. A narrow windy road takes you down to this working fishing hamlet. Views across this wide bay, you can sit on the stoney beach or on the rocks depending on the tide. Plenty of people fish from the beach. Perfect place to sit and watch the world go by. Enjoy the excellent fish and chips, or the pub. You can also walk from here. It's slowly becoming more popular, parking is limited and you will sometimes find yourself driving up and down looking for a space. We've been visiting for many years and it always is beautiful and quite peaceful. There are picnic tables available near the fish and chip shop. It is a dog...

A delightful fishing village between Torcross and Hallsands (lost to the sea during a storm just over a hundred years ago) First came here over 40 years ago.The Cricket is a famous pub/ restaurant facing the sea.There is also a seafood cafe.A good place to start a cliff walk to Start Point and...

A brilliant, quieter beach.. free parking with it's mostly pebble and softer shingle towards the end.. a little bit of a trek so not packed like other Devon holiday time beaches.. great for tea time mackerel fishing and safe for swimming although there is a rip tide closer to the orange...
