I didn't have a great experience here. I wanted some long nails for a friends wedding, so the lady used a foil thing to extend my nail (I apologise I dont recall the name of it). They looked lovely but they were super thick, I've never had nails done like this so I'm unsure what thickness they should be, but I had a lot of trouble picking up paper, coins, hair pins etc as they were just so thick.

After the wedding, a couple of weeks later I went back to have the nails removed. In the past I've had them soaked off, but here they use an electric metal nail file, a bit like a wizzy drill type thing. The process was very quick but it hurt a lot, it felt like a red hot poker across my nails, and the smell of burning was horrible. At the end I couldn't wait to get out of there. I went home and soaked my hands in cool water as my nail bed was feeling really fragile. Then on closer inspection, I could see ridges on my nail, and pieces of the false nail was still there, they stand out because they are a different colour than my natural nail, plus you can still see the nail growth from where my nails had grown underneath.

So all on all, it was a very expensive process that I wasn't at all satisfied with. I haven't gone back in the shop to complain because to be honest, the lady that owns this business scares the hell...
