I placed an order this evening and it cost me £52.70.
My chicken foo young and chicken chow mein and the chicken in my fried rice were not cooked properly. Some bits were cooked and some were pink and not cooked. My family and I only discovered nearly half way threw our meal.
I rang Sunflower and explained that half the chicken was undercooked. I did ask for a refund but because I paid by cash I couldn't get one. They did offer a replacement next time I ordered of the dishes that weren't cooked.
I'm not sure whether I will be ordering from here again????
After not ordering from here since my last experience I thought I would give Sunflower Chinese another go as up until that point I hadn't experienced any problems.
So tonight I rang and explained that I was told that the chicken chow mein and the chicken foo young would be replaced next time I ordered, I didn't even ask for the chicken fried rice to be replaced. I was willing ng to pay for that as well as a few other dishes.
The lady who answered the phone was lovely but when she went back and told whoever that The chicken foo young and chicken chow mein were to replaced for free it was disgusting. I could hear them arguing between themselves in Chinese. Then the lady came back and said I'd put a photo of the uncooked food on this website, which I hadn't. I did explain that I did put a review on a quite a few weeks ago but I was willing to give Sunflower Chinese another chance. All I heard was a man/woman shouting something in Chinese to the lady I spoke to who obviously was Chinese or spoke it as well. She came back and said the same thing about they weren't happy about a photo, which I hadn't put and obviously the review.
To be honest they could of redeemed themselves tonight as I have ordered from them for years. Like I told the lady who answered the phone tonight, Just forget it, I was really really disappointed with their response as too be honest they could of resolved it by accepting responsibility and apologizing and not arguing.
They obviously do read the reports. So hopefully they will read this one and hopefully...
