Sangam Balti House — Restaurant in South Ribble

Went at 7pm on a Saturday night and it was pretty empty. Was shown to our table (by a young lady who looked like she was working there to pay off a debt) then asked what we'd like to drink, I asked for larger (not remembering that they no longer serve alcohol) at first, then I asked for lassie, neither we available, so a jug of iced water was ordered for the table. YOU CAN TAKE YOUR OWN ALCOHOL, pity I had not remembered that.. Ordered the set meal and it was enjoyed by all of us, especially the Chicken Korma. Been coming here for years, never had a big issue. But the service I received tonight was awful. Ordered at 6.45, order wasn't here at 9pm. Rang for the next 40mins, kept telling the food was on the way. My wife rang and was dealt with a very very rude employee, who was screaming down the phone at her, and kept hanging up. Then when we called, he answered then put the phone down before we could speak. We said we just wanted a refund. They told us to call back another day cos they couldnt do it now. Literally fuming. Ruined our night. Its now 9.35pm, no sign of food or a refund. Lost a customer tonight...

I have used the Sangam for years and have always enjoyed their food, it really is excellent. Their delivery side of the service I am afraid has got worse and worse. Last occasion the food was an hour late and the time before that 2 hours with the staff getting really quite rude to me after telling me every excuse under the sun.
