Just a quick note to describe my experience of the competence, care, understanding and knowledge of standards at this branch of KFC.
Ordered a Boneless Banquet and 2 Vegetarian Rice boxes.
Waited for 10 minutes whilst food is being prepared. Then saw a member of staff putting all my order into one large bag.
Calling out to another member of staff for the vegetarian rice boxes.
A cry of misunderstanding was heard... "What. You wanted veggie ones? ". Oh no.(Yes, they had made Zinger ones instead.)
Less than one minute later, hey Preston my meal was ready.
Questioning the earlier commotion I had overheard, the member of staff told me that they had made the wrong ones and that totally new ones had be made up in record time.
I opened up the rice box.
She has told me a pack of lies. I mentioned this work of fiction and was told that they would make new ones instead.
I could not get into her head and she did do seem to grasp the concept of contamination or the error they had made.
I asked for the Manager.
He seemed to be as disinterested as her, just kept instisting that all was well as we were being made a fresh order. Not one iota of the concept of the major error that they had made, the lack of care, cross contamination, the fundamental folly of feeding a vegetarian food which had once touched meat.
Useless clowns, who I would not trust...
Read moreOrdered via KFC app. Lovely delivery driver handed over sealed bag- we actually got correct drinks this time- that’s the only reason they get any stars- the driver. Unfortunately, we were down 2 lots of chips and the chicken that arrived as part of the original recipe chicken was sitting under too long under the lights. Dry and nasty. The “helpline” couldn’t give a stuff and offered a refund for the chips but not the delivery charge or chicken. The refund will take up to 15 days to process. Not helpful as I’ve not enough food to feed people and am unable to get to the branch. No email address to forward a complaint to. Rang the shop- staff member said they can’t send missing parts of order as the app is separate and to contact app. The app isn’t the one who couldn’t count to 5 lots of chips or left the chicken too long,; the app isn’t responsible for checking and sealing the bag. So I’m £46 out of pocket for food that didn’t feed everyone and now I’m going to have to make food at home, completely defeating the point of treating the kids. It’s a shame because the shop does have some great staff when I’ve been into branch but whoever is in charge of bagging is unable to count to 5 and is leaving...

Came today - 15/05/2022 at 17:30pm - should have realised when I went in a guest was saying she had been there nearly an hour! any way waited to order with 7 other people 3 in front and 3 behind to be told we haven't even got enough chicken for the orders we have you will have to wait 30-40 min so I walked out and so did the other people thats potentially £140 in revenue you just lost - I got outside and then decided to go back in and ask for the manager as the team just looked so un enthusiastic in fact the boy who was trying to take the orders thought it was funny that we all walked out, she was clearly inexperienced did not even offer an apology - the team just looked completely demoralised and like they did not want to be there - this comes from poor management - being in the hospitality industry myself if I ever felt my team felt like your team looked then I would resign - You should be ashamed of your self for not giving your young team the training and time that they deserve - I am passing on this review to your HO as Team should not be made to feel like they looked - this all boils down to very poor management!
