The Titash Tandoori — Local services in South Ribble

We ordered from Titash for the first time (and last time) tonight through Just Eat. The website said orders could take up to 60 minutes to be delivered. After an hour and a half I rang the restaurant and was told the food would be with me in 15-20 minutes. I presumed this meant it was out for delivery as it would take about 15 minutes to drive to my house. 50 minutes later they called to tell me they had no King Prawns (they hadn't even made my food yet). I can understand that these things happen and some nights are busy but I waited nearly 2 and a half hours before they told me they didn't have the ingredients to make my meal and they lied when they said the food would be with me in 15-20 minutes. They did ask if I wanted anything else but I had searched many menus for that particular dish, I don't eat meat so I asked to cancel. At first they didn't want to cancel as they had made my partners food already but eventually they agreed and I had to contact Just Eat for a refund. I think its important to manage customer expectations, if they had called and told me they had no prawns and that there was a long wait for food I could have ordered from somewhere else and I may have tried them again in the future. Hopefully they will learn from this but I won't be ordering...

I’ve been ordering from Titash for what must be 10 years plus. Food always arrives with the advised time period. Good sized portions with complimentary popadoms. I’ve never noticed the food arrive cold…..but I don’t always eat it as soon as it arrives……..and I do own a microwave, so no stress there. I’ve tried many different dishes and enjoyed them all. I think within the 10 year period, the order may have been wrong once or twice but the staff at Titash have always resolved the issue as quick as they could. I’ve tried other takeaways but I always come back to...

Ordered inside the takeaway and waited for the meal. Order included a cheese naan. When I got home with the order the cheese naan was a plain naan. No point going back as the meal would have been cold.

The food itself was nice, although small portions and we received a complimentary popadom but I'd have preferred the order to have been correct. It's also expensive here.

If I use this place again I'll make sure the order is correct before leaving the shop.
