Super Kebab — Local services in Southampton

We have been regularly ordering from Super Kebab since they opened last year and I can honestly say their food is excellent both in quality and quantity. They have an extensive menu and they have their own app for orders so you can avoid all the extra surcharges / delivery costs from those third party delivery companies. Specific shout outs for their burgers which are banging, mozzarella sticks amazing and my favourite healthier option the chicken shish kebab has a generous serving of chicken that has a wonderful flavour, not at all greasy and the salad is lovely and fresh. Even though we live nearby we usually opt for delivery and it typically arrives piping hot within 20 minutes. Our last order was over 40 minutes and they called to say our food was ready, to my embarrassment I realised I'd selected collection instead of delivery on their app but they were so helpful and said it was no bother for them to deliver. Within 5 minutes they were on our doorstep, and we were so grateful. They are definitely our favourite local takeaway, keep up the great work Super...

At 17:30 on a Friday evening we placed an online order for delivery. We're about 2 miles away, and by 18:00 we were eating delicious doner meat and chips, with the salad packed separately so it didn't go soggy. Neither of us could finish the generous portions, so that's lunch tomorrow sorted! Really pleased with the speed, price, and taste. Update: Ordered again, this time on a Thursday evening and once again the delivery was quick, and the mixed meat and chips were perfect. Generous portions, so much so that you couldn't actually see the chips under all the meat, and the salad is cold and fresh in a separate container. Will be ordering...

The kebab shop opened a month ago, so I had to give it a try. I ordered a mixed doner wrap with chilli and garlic sauce, along with a poor choice of salad. Unfortunately, the kebab was very average, nothing special about it. I think sauces were store-bought, because they tasted almost the same as in every other kebab place in the area. Chicken meat was tasteless and slightly overcooked, while the lamb meat (probably bought pre-made from Makro or somewhere similar) was cut into thick, fatty slices and also lacked flavor. It's hard to find a kebab in Southampton that feels even a bit more artisanal and tastes different from 95%...
