This has to be the Best Fish, and chips in the United Kingdom. Cooked to order with a geniune passion to get a 10/10 result everyone, the couple always give a freindly professional excellent customer service. They really care about the product, service, quality, and it shows. Immaculately clean. The chips are always spot on, melt in the mouth, with a very good choice of potatoe with proper flavour, plus the fish has a lovely batter, and the fish is a lovely white colour, fresh, and generous. Amazingly they are also a better price than anywhere else £2 cheaper than there competition, who served overcooked dry food last time, with naff customer service. They have built up an amazing reputation with the locals over many years with excellent service, and delicious fish and chips, Millbrook chippy, (not to be mistaken for the one by Tesco express). Well worth a visit, if you love very good fish and chips, and there pea fritter is really good too.💯 🙂👍...

I can’t believe these fake reviews on here since the shop has been taken over from the excellent previous owners the quality of the food is if I’m totally honest disgusting the chips are small and slimy and taste like over greasy oven chips. The burger is deep fat fried. The chicken burger is a processed tasteless mess and on top of the this the prices have risen by like 70 to 80 pence for everything. I’m sad in a way. My family ate here for years and now it’s been taken over by people who don’t know a thing about what fish and chips are supposed to taste like.

In view to your response let me see you sit down and eat a large mushy sausage and slimy chips…. Guaranteed you won’t and on top of that by the look of your reviewers since you’ve taken over I bet there your friends. No way are they after a cod and chips on a Friday looooooool. Fake review….really…. ok. Looks like I’m gonna post...

Be prepared to wait.... 20-30 minutes.

In fairness, they told us it would be a wait and we accepted that. Actually it took 40 minutes, but the food was great, freshly cooked and tasty. It was worth the wait, but when you are hungry, time seemed to stand still.

It was busy.. our order was messed up, but was quickly sorted out, without any fuss.

Service, I dropped 1 star, because the order was messed up.. but it was sorted quickly.

Atmosphere.. it's a chip shop.. it's busy and people waiting for food. But it was calm, and no pressure from customers, so is clearly something the locals are used to.
