Still good value but inconsistent stocks of certain items. Items you have previously purchased and really to like disappear from the shelves. Even special buys which used be on a rotation through the year have become spasmodic. The traffic light system used in first lock-down, thats still working but basically ignored. They seem to rely on advice over the tannoy system about safe shopping which seem to drop on quite a few deaf ears. Annoying early morning shopping which used to be great but has become an obstacle course with assistants loading trolleys for ordered deliveries. It seems what used to be a real treat going to Aldi has now been rendered a chore. We've started to gravitate to evening shopping at Tesco across the road. Read moreGreat shop, unfortunately if you place an online click and collect order and there is a problem with your order, you need to visit the store and speak to the manager as there systems do not currently permit refunds to customers via telephone or email. Which to be honest is an inconvenience, as all of my bread was missing from my order. Point to note, Tesco refund straight away with their online orders. Update: 5th Jan 2022 Out of date yellow Oranges were in my click and collect order, after 20 minutes on the phone i finally got my 69p e-voucher which i have to use in store, when i always shop online, come on Aldi get a grip and move with the times. I ceased using it about a year ago after many years (as it started to become an unpleasant place to shop) and converted to the new Lidl nearby. Tonight, 7 self service tills open (no manned tills). Only one assigned to take Cash - with a queue of four people. Whilst all the others tills were empty. Such poor management - no doubt attempting to skim time cashing up by just having one till.
