We drove almost 2 hours to JP Togs to find a quinceneara dress for my granddaughter. I had spoken with them a few times about a certain dress my granddaughter wanted. The minute we walked in the door, they were so friendly and kind and VERY patient. She pulled several dresses down for my granddaughter to try, but nothing seemed to bring on a smile UNTIL we saw a beautiful black dress with silver sparkles in it. ( My granddaughter had originally wanted a yellow, Belle looking dress) My granddaughter tried the black one on and that was it! AND we were given a 30% discount on that gorgeous dress. My granddaughter was and still is very happy with the dress. She even said she wants to go back there to get her prom dress. It was well worth the long drive. Thank you JP Togs!!! I've tried coming in here multiple times. The dresses are beautiful. But every time I leave this store my heart sinks. They assume that you are like everyone else. That what's popular is what you want. They are rude and talk over you. The employees already know what you want before you walk through the door they want to think for you but I am my own person with my own mind. Sorry I dont care what everyone else is doing. I'm pretty sure if jumping off a cliff was popular they would try to persuade you that's what you should want for yourself. Sometimes you just want to look and don't need to be pressured and rushed especially when the store is empty. We bought a dress and she explained we could bring it back and sell on consignment. So after we were done with the dress we brought it back. We signed a contract and had to leave the dress for at least 8 months and if the dress was left more than 2 weeks past that date it would become theirs. We agreed. I waited the 8 months and tried calling, no answer. I finally drove to the store and asked for it back. She told me she sold it. I was never contacted and never told to come get the money. She did write me a check but seemed sheepishly about it. It’s only my opinion but I feel if I wouldn’t have stopped down, she would have said it was overdue...
