Dollar General — Local services in Abilene

This store is full of incompetent employees who are are incapable of performing the duties that are expected of their job title and is run by a rude inconsiderate and uncooperative general manager who doesn't want to compensate nor take responsibility for his incompetent employees. if I were you I'd rather shop at Family Dollar or anywhere other than here. Not to mention the lines are always outrageous and there is only ever one person at the counter to help customers so expect to spend at least 45 minutes standing in line to check out with the items you want...

I went in to return air wick plug there was not a manager on duty only a sales associate had to wait over a hour just for a manager. Just for her to tell me I can’t return with out a receipt I told her no that’s not the policy I deserve store credit she gives me a gift card I leave the store to go to another dollar general to purchase my dog food since you can’t even get in the isles at there location come to find out she didn’t put my refund on the gift card! Idk who I need to contact but This store needs...

The staff seems to really not care about customers. Helping you with anything. Waiting in a long line with one cashier. Other staff are who knows where. Card readers are broken. When they are out of something they don't let you know when they will have those items in stock again. This store used to be a good store.
