Stephens Processing — Local services in Abilene

Do NOT recommend!! They do not give you back the deer that you bring in. They mass process all the deer brought in and then portion it out. You don’t know if you’re going to get part of some guys deer that sat in the back of his truck for a day or so or was lost in the field for a day or two before it was found and tagged. Extremely risky process in my opinion of getting tainted meat back. They cut the legs with our tags off making our deer unidentified and sent them into meat locker. Go...

Sitting here in deer stand, wishing a deer would show up mature enough for me to shoot and take to Stephen’s and realized after years and years of using him dating way back to his original location that I’ve never given him a review. I just can’t say enough good about Brent. A real class act with very good customer service and processing. Would highly recommend him to anyone in need of wild game...

Stephen's is great! We were first-time customers this last fall and couldn't be more satisfied. He's professional, friendly and has a great facility.

Also - get his venison roast stuffed with bacon! It's totally worth it. I recommend using the Pioneer Woman's "Perfect Pot Roast" recipe and serving with mashed potatoes!

Next time, we'll definitely be getting the sausage...
