If you buy a car from Autoland, you may get your door kicked down while they steal your car. I bought a car here on July 10th. I made sure (in writing) that the financing was APPROVED before buying it. I made my "welcome call" the next day. Everything was fine until the 19th. Autoland asked me to call Capital One again, so I did. Later that day, Autoland said the loan had been returned because I drive for Uber. Autoland knew this up front, it was part of my income. Kerry explained to me that Bob combined my income on the loan application. I did not authorize this. Autoland started running my credit again without my consent. I told Kerry to make it stop. They continued to do it anyway. They offered me a different loan. I was not against signing a new loan, but I wanted to review it first this time. They refused to let me see it. They wanted me to come in immediately and sign it. I had just worked overnight and my mother's funeral was the next day. They called me and yelled so much that I had a subconjunctival hemorrhage. I told them this absolutely had to wait until Monday. On Monday, I called a consumer protection line to confirm they can't cancel a sale after nine days. After that, I texted Autoland. Once again, they pushed me to come in and sign immediately. They kept trying to get me on the phone. I said I would not use the phone with them at this point, and that I needed to see the contract in order to make a decision. Then I fell asleep. When I woke up and went to work, I saw that I had a bunch of missed calls and a text from Autoland asking if I made a decision. The last missed call was from the Preston County Sheriff, so I called that number back. I was informed that I had an interstate warrant for my arrest, but it seemed like a civil matter to the deputy. He said I should take care of it in MD the next day, because extradition takes weeks. I said I would and started contacting attorneys immediately. The next day, I received a text from Autoland stating that they were at my house to take the car. I found out days later that what was actually going on was my antique door was being busted down by law enforcement (including a K9). I was in MD hiring a criminal defense attorney. My house was open to theft for days while I was stuck in MD figuring out this warrant thing. I had to do this without a vehicle, because my old vehicle was in their shop. I couldn't even go to work in PA because of the interstate warrant. I was just stuck. Finally, the warrant was recalled. It took a while for all of the involved law enforcement agencies to figure this out. I was cuffed in my driveway on July 28th and had to call out of work yet again. I saw the warrant after it was recalled. Autoland made it seem like the financing fell through right away and they had been trying to repossess the car. I have the receipts. They had law enforcement involved just a couple of hours after Chad texted me asking if I had made a decision. They know I work overnights, I told them every time we communicated. This entire situation is disgusting. I was a loyal customer. I baked cookies for their service department before I decided it was time to buy a car there. I will probably be deactivated from all gig because of this. I have missed so many days of work. My new neighbors saw my house get swarmed and then saw me cuffed on another day. My credit has so many inquiries from Autoland that I cannot finance a car elsewhere. My health has suffered greatly. All I wanted to do was buy a car from a place whose service department has treated me very well. After refusing payment from my cosigner, they have listed my car for sale. They signed a contract with me and the sale is final per MD law. They did not do a legal repossession, they stole my car. Now they are selling it. The Carfax report says there have been no owners. I put a lot of miles on it and installed rain guards. IT IS USED. I posted my temporary tag in the photos. They postdated the delivery date. My picture with the car is still on their FB page. Consider yourself warned!!!

My experience comes second hand but is none the less accurate. My cousin is a customer of this great dealership. He related how he wanted a new jeep but despised going to dealerships because of the back & forth during negotiations. His experience here was, in his words, a fantastically easy endeavor. To add to his community, the dealership participates in it's annual fourth of July festivities and parade. My cousin says that if I'm interested in buying a vehicle, just come down & we'll go to autoland & do it the easy way.

The service department and sales showroom does not have one employee who is wearing a mask - violating state mandate. They are allowing customers to sit in the waiting room without masks. I have an immune disorder so I couldn’t safely be in the building. And now I have to worry about the workers who have been in my car without safely equipment. When I called out their disregard for the health and safety of all customers, they did not care. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Follow up: Spoke with the GM. He apologized and said they’d do better. I ended up meeting with a salesman who was very nice. I decided to trade in my car and buy a new one. I already had financing. The salesman totally blew me off. Never gave me a proper quote on the car or replied to my request for an approval get my trade in appraised. I guess he wasn’t interested in selling a car. I’ll buy...

Chad and Kerry went above and beyond to get Me into a car I would love! I didn't even know exactly what I wanted at the time. I gave them ideas of what I wanted and what I wanted to pay and they did everything they could to make that happen and find me the perfect car! And when I say perfect, I mean perfect! This has been the best car purchase I have ever experienced and they are fantastic at what they do! I absolutely love my new car, and will definitely go back to them again when the time comes! Can't recommend...
