Brewery and the Beast — Local services in Addison Township

My wife and I flew our single prop plane into Garrett County Airport this past weekend to see friends and give advise on expanding their Bee Hive Business. After my meeting before flying back to Utal, we decided to get something to eat at this restaurant thinking it would be a great place. Well I should have read the Reviews because this place was terrible. For starters their Waitress was very rude and didn't have a care in the world when we placed our orders. I ordered their Smashburger and my wife ordered their Housemade Sausage along with other sides. My Smashburger earned its name as it came out smashed and the bun was very very very soggy due to the extensive grease, plus it was warm along with being very pink inside. I stated I wanted my burger well done. Soon as I seen the burger in its insipid condition and cut open the meat to see the pink ooze, I told the waitress (Wish I remembered her name) and she stood there looking at me with a flabergast stair. Then said, maybe you should have ordedred something else other than a burger as that is how we make all of our burgers. I couldn't believe her reply as I have never had someone talk to me with such a snarky tone in her voice. My wifes Housemade sausage was full of small bones and grizzle which we mentioned but didn't bother as we ask for a manager but was stonewalled by the waitress and another one who was with her. We cut our losses and do know we will never return to this restaurant when we come back to Garrett County next month. I didn't leave a tip at all and made sure to mark it on my receipt, but checked my bank statement online yesterday to see that the waitress gave herself a nice 25.00 tip! If it wasn't for that I wouldn't have thought about this review. I can't stand bad food, smart ass employees but most of all THEIVES! Stay way all who read and if you go, please review your statements, take a pic of the receipt before handing it to them, even if they are nice to you. I can tell this wasn't their first self...

I wish I didn't have to give one star because they don't deserve that! I ordered fish tacos, It took an hour and 10 minutes to come out, someone that came in after us got a meal that would take much longer to prepare was served before us. When when the tacos came out they were cold and the fish was very white, flaky and had a couple of weird dark vein like strings in it. I told the waitress she said thats the way it supposed to look I told her the fish is supposed to be mahi mahi, I'm from the Bahamas eat it all the time its a darker firmer fish and that was not it. She was very, very rude still trying to argue with me. They tried to play me with some nasty looking imposter fish. This place and the attitude from the service is disgusting!...

We’ve loved this place since they’ve opened. Their food and service are truly top notch. We just finished our Brewery & the Beast Thanksgiving dinner and we’re just so grateful for the effort that was clearly put into every item of food! The turkey was just perfect! Moist and flavorful. The smashed potatoes made us talk crap about regular mashed potatoes 🤣, the green beans, the rolls, everything was just so delicious! Thank you so much for making our holiday so lovely. We were able to enjoy the day with our family, without being stuck in the kitchen, and still sat down to a gourmet meal.
