Went to A-F Market in Adams, WI the other day and went to purchase hamburger. I noticed no markings on package about fat content. I found the meat man and asked if he knew what was in meat. I was told he did not know. How can you sell something that you have no idea what contents are. All the meat in the Adams Market is shipped in. I said maybe they should find out what they are selling and it would be nice if packages were marked with fat content like other stores, well that did not go over well. All the other stores I have been in mark packages so you know what fat content is. I once purchased chicken brought it home put in freezer then the next day went to use it and it was rotten even though the date was good for about 3 more days.
Very over priced for what you get and the fresh vegetables and fruit always seem to be rotten.
The problem is, this is the only grocery store in the area and we have to go out of town to shop.
The owner of this store in Adams is on the City Board for Development and refuses to have any other store in the area. There have been several nice stores that wanted to open in the area and he has turned them down. This town will be DEAD if this man continues on the board. HE NEEDS TO GO. This is a MONOPOLY and is Un-AMERICAN.
I have seen the staff refuse to help veterans in wheelchairs and others who need assistance.
WE WANT A CHOICE AND...
Read moreI used to think very highly of the store and the staff. Slowly during the past five years I’m sad to say things are slipping. It seems they don’t care anymore. Specially with the parking lot. I mean do they not realize it causes extra wear and tear on our tires not to mention the things our tires pick up. Would’ve given four stars but, your lot cost me $280.... You also don’t label deli food correctly, and I got sick. Also your customer service desk is right at the front of the store, what happened to being greeted. There’s always at least three ladies by register one and two as well as customer service counter just standing around like a bunch of cackling hens. So of course I’m a little sarcastic when I say hi ladies welcome to County market. And they...
Read moreSince new ownership there is no reason or incentive to shop at this overpriced small town grocery store. Im assuming they have jacked the prices way up to take advantage of the customers that get food stamps. You can drive 30 miles in either direction to shop at other grocery stores and still save money even with the price of gas these days. I hope their employees are smart enough to start looking for employment elsewhere, this store won't be in business for long at this rate. What a joke! You should be ashamed of taking advantage of the people in this town that are on state aid. Will never step a foot in that store again. If I desperately need something, I will go to one of the other local stores if in a pinch....
