Anyone that reads my reviews knows that I'm quick to give a business their props when they have it coming yet this is the first one star (which is too much) review I've ever given. Went to this restaurant from hunting land where I'm visiting my brother and was starving, not to mention drove 20 mins to get there. An Hispanic lady greeted us although not very informative or talkative when I asked her about authentic Mexican breakfast I wanted like huevos rancheros or chorizo. She downplayed it like it was owned by an American family and only served American style food. Okay, I went with the Mexican omelette on special for 7.99, my brother ordered the same amount 7.99 with coffee (extra of course $2 each) and with my included toast and potatoes I asked for hash browns crispy and raisin toast. The food came at a reasonable waiting time yet when I received mine the toast tasted stale, the omelette was dry and tasted like it was made weeks ago and thrown in a microwave and when I asked the lady who the owner was she said she was. I then said well the food was no good and told her why, not being rude in any way at that point. She rudely said well you ordered it. I said yes but I didn't eat but a couple of bites and I'd like it take off my bill since I wasn't satisfied with it and didn't eat it. She then said no you ate some of it and I said yes but I didn't like it and would like a discount if nothing else. She said no. I said that's bad business lady to which she replied it's 28.23. I gave her two twenties and said I can't believe you won't honor the fact that I didn't like the food and she threw 11 bucks at me rudely, never gave me my .77 cents change I had coming and told me to leave to which I did yet informed her I was going to report her for bad business and she shooed me with her hand. I've never been treated so rudely and I wasn't looking for a free meal with 200 bucks in my pocket. We even left a 5 Dollar tip just to show her it wasn't about the money. I don't recommend this place to anyone and if I have any say with my friends they'll never go there either. Support small business but not the Family Affair (how ironic) garbage restaurant in...

This restaurant is still evolving putting on a new addition for I believe outdoor dining I believe. I hope they are putting up screens due to flies and mosquitoes They also did remodeling of the inside of the restaurant and cleaned up alot of clutter but still could remove a few more dust collectors but much much better. One suggestion hang fly paper if someone isn't going to kill flies that come in through the doors. Breakfast is still their specialty along with soups, sandwiches, and ff. Their specialty salads are huge but for their side salads though the lettuce is always crisp they could add a little more greenery or color maybe try red onion or thinner slices of white onion. Their fish fries are very good also I've never been disappointed. They still are understaffed but what staff they have are very hard working, friendly, and personable. This is an owner-operated hands-on-run family-run business. The owner Angel along with her husband try their best to accommodate every person who comes through their door. There are kids, seniors, vegetarian dishes, a stocked bar, and a whole lot more. I would recommend giving this establishment a try.
The restaurant has gone through a total remodel which is very nice. Could use some help with interior decorating as too much stuff to collect dust and become a health code violation. Breakfast is their specialty as they need to pay for a better cook for other menu items. If you invest in a better cook then I would give 4 stars. Currently understaffed but the staff is still friendly and apologetic as I said breakfast is great if you don't...
Read moreOk so we ordered: 1.chicken alfredo- it was the consistency of cream soup (half a bite) owner even said it didn’t look good. maui burger-fine but the ham was bigger than the burger, the pineapple looked like it came from a small can of Dole pineapple rings, and thicker than the burger 3.soup broccoli cheddar: need thinned looked like goop and tasted slimy 4.fish- was great 5.fries-good 1 tarter was good and the other curdled salad - had hair in it ordered a Shirley Temple- got orange juice and grenadine (owner blamed that on the server) replaced the alfredo with a burger and charged me for that. cole slaw- let me tell you the flavor was bad, mush (owner even said it was bad and she was in the back eating it.) non existent server no refills owner wanted to argue with me. owner wanted to ridicule the waitress in front of people. she told me she had to charge me even if it was their mess up. 3.15 tax on cards, I have tried multiple restaurants in Adams and haven’t seen this. Owner mumbling under breath, saying things was unacceptable and just rude..
I have enjoyed Adams restaurants but I would not suggest this one, food or staff! I still paid $54 plus for this mess..
Have a great day! Happy Easter
