Adelanto Animal Control — Local services in Adelanto

First animal control along side with the sheriff's. Came to the property were I'm also living and they took me down to the station for questioning even though I had nothing to do with what they were there for. No sooner that they took me they brought me back to the property. When I got back I go looking for my dogs and they were gone. The animal control and animal control didn't tell me they were going to take my dogs. They didn't even give me any paperwork I had nothing. Since then iv call AC just to have them give me the run around to call the sheriff's and the sheriff's tells me to call the AC and back and forth. Now I been calling and no answer days are going by and it's a day closer for the AC to basically kill my dogs. Granted my dogs were skinny and I didn't like that but they just gotten over having a ring worm from eating off a dead horse that a whole other story. But if they would have came to me and ask me why I would have explain to them what was going on now I have to pay to get them out and I don't have money like that. That's...

Worst ever. Do nothing about problem animals. Hardly ever even call you back. Won't work on Friday and say they don't deem it an emergency so it has to wait till Monday. DON'T MOVE TO ADELANTO! It's cheap for a reason...It's lawless and you'll lose your property value and get stuck in a house no one will want to buy based on all the neighborhood problems and parties and wild dogs. No city employees except 4 days a week. Pay a little extra and buy in Victorville where they have animal control and code enforcement!
