Harps Food Stores — Local services in Airport Drive

My hometown grocery. Glad to see it came to my neck of the woods. Beats the heck out of Walmart! My only complaint would be is the fuel islands. I used to get diesel and gas here all the time there are two diesel pumps and all the rest gasoline. The diesel pumps are combos and invariably every single time I would go there needing diesel there's some inconsiderate gasser sitting at the diesel pump with a few or sometimes all the other gas pumps empty. And if that wasn't always the case there would be a car parked at the pump and nobody around and I finally got tired of going into the store and having people paged to come move their car out of the fuel Lane because they were inside shopping. That's ridiculous! I had hoped that after the unfortunate accident that took out the diesel pumps they would have put back dedicated diesel pumps only but they put combos back in so now I get my diesel at other places that have dedicated diesel pumps because nothing is more infuriating when I have so little choices on where to get my fuel when so many others have so much more choices and don't use them. I ordered a birthday cupcake cake for my son's 2nd birthday of the #2. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. First off I placed an order for 24 cup cakes and only received 22. For some reason they decided to only do 1 cup cake line instead of a double line at the top of the 2. Then there wasn't even enough icing to keep the cupcakes together it started to seperate. So not only was there not enough, it wasn't even appealing to look at. I've worked for a harps in Heber arkansas and they take pride in what they cook, and create. I think this department might need some help. I came to the store on a Sunday tried to pre order the people working acted like they had no idea what I was talking about and I couldn't place an order, keep in mind I live an hour away they told me to come back the next day and the decorator will be there. so I did a total of 3hrs driving for this cake. I love their fried chicken. I thought I would do some grocery shopping and pick up fried chicken for dinner. The prices were ridiculously high. I spent about $40 more on groceries than I normally do at the Neighborhood Market right down the road. The pop I bought was completely flat when I opened the first can. After looking at my receipt they overcharged me for a couple of things. I was also charged $3.49 for the rolls that were supposed to be included in my chicken dinner meal. If you are loading the items, you can't see the prices as she's ringing them up. I noticed one item that rang up wrong, but she had already hit the button to complete the transaction. When I mentioned to her that it shouldn't have been that price, she made no effort to correct it. There were people behind me, so I just left instead of holding them up.
