Verts Neighborhood Dispensary — Local services in Airport Drive

Verts is on their A game. I haven’t had time to check out any other other places yet in the joplin area. What I can tell you as a veteran Colorado vacationer. Verts has some of the best I have come across so far. The selection was great and Ashley was very helpful and knowledgeable. It was a great atmosphere in there, clean and smelled amazing. They have just about anything you could need, and a decent selection of edibles. One thing I would like to see in the future, is ready to bake oil or butter. Since Covid, I have had problems with asthma so smoke is mostly a no go for me now. I’m not super fond of chocolate or gummies, but I will eat a gummy. Cookies and other baked goods are what I like the most. Otherwise, Verts is awesome, 10/10 I will be here again. Bubba Fett 10/10, Sour diesel 10/10, Florida kush 10/10

UPDATE : I don’t know what happened here. I was super impressed with my first purchase here. Every visit after however has been junk product that should have been tossed out. For the price I expect way better than what I have been getting here. Kinda made me feel like I had got the ole bait and switch. The last two visits, i got several different kinds. Each one was dry, tasted like burnt ash, and barely had any effect. It was worse than mids imo. So I am moving on from this place. I am looking for a better experience too. I want to walk in and see and smell exactly what I am getting. Not look at pictures on an iPad and then wait for sealed mystery bags from the back. Also tip jars for girls to scroll an ipad for you is kinda silly if you ask me. That’s like tipping a hostess for your drinks at Applebees. Tipping budtenders and even the name budtender is just a joke to me. How many of you are out there tipping your pharmacist? I think we all know the answer to that one. Lmao

Maybe this place is experiencing some growing pains? I don’t really know. Just putting my experience out there. In the future I will be keeping track of which brands were junk. So far I can say that Fora Farms is the worst I have had. Farmer G and gold rush were also pretty lousy.

The last thing I want to say, so we can leave on a positive note. The edibles were great. Some of the better gummies I have had. Pricey, but they were good tasting, and the potency was spot on for what was advertised.

Update 2/26/24. What can you do better? Read the bad reviews, lower the prices and stop selling dried out, old weed. Over cured is a bs response from someone trying to play it off like they aren’t messing up. Lower the prices, your product will move faster, your weed won’t dry...

Prices are trash. Will shop on the black market instead because of that. Oklahoma medical is all over the black market is tested and way better quality. Do better. Good day farm for example always dry always taxed. You can't even sell a decent 20 dollar 1/8th. The legal market isn't with the times. Colorado for example doesn't tax people like this. Why would I pay more? And drive through? You act like someone couldn't deliver. If rec is too expensive since I have a card also could just pay 100 to Oklahoma. They sell 28 grams of wax for 100 bucks. At worst 10 to 15 you guys charge so much for 1. The bud you sell has no terps hardly and is often dry. I suggest using humidity packs. Also Oklahoma sells a ounce for 75 of some fire I've even found pop corn nuts for 50 that were better quality than what you guys sell for 120. It's robbery is what it is. Quality isn't there and you guys tax people that just want relief. It's wrong to charge 35 for a 1/8th in 2023. Wax on the streets from dispensarys is going for 20 bucks I've seen. A great customer experience past the reception doors with people like Hannah behind the counter. Very knowledgeable about terpines and profiles of their various products. Hannah helped me through the transaction and made it so pleasant that it overshadowed the experience I had in the reception lobby. Overall, without reception involved, we're looking at a 12/10 experience. Unfortunately...the reception leaves a lot to be desired and may even be downright uncomfortable at times during their busier moments. Today, my father and I witnessed a customer being threatened and almost asked to leave for simply joking about the wait time with another customer. The man apologized 3 times but the receptionist seemed to be more aggressive with each time. This is not the first time it has felt this way, but the first time I felt it was necessary to comment about it. If the reception issue is addressed, I believe this can be the best dispensary experience in Joplin. Until then, I feel that my visits here will be limited to the drive...
