Boardwalk Sales — Local services in Akron

I do NOT recommend this place, very bad business practices. I found an item they posted online for sale and said I would buy it, I even gave her the day I would be by to pickup the item. I went through the trouble to borrow a truck and went through my bank to take out the money. And I had been messaging back and forth with her the whole time, and she was acting like yes I'll be here to help get it in your truck and I'll see you soon. Then no sooner did I get into the truck I borrowed to come pick the piece up, she sends me a message "sorry it sold". She knew I was going to be there in less than an hour to pickup, I had JUST messaged her!!! This place is a scam and they can't be trusted. They will sell something right out from under you even if you had an agreement with her previously. I wouldn't even bother looking at any of her pieces for sale online because even if you agree to purchase something she will just sell it to someone else before you are able...

We honestly stumbled upon this gem, the amout of treasures to be found is amazing.. I didn't get the guys name today that was there, an older gentleman, that i belive is the owner gave my 16yr old son a really Gracious gift of a usmc uniform, my son has wanted, his goal in life is to join the military.. this touched our hearts.. you do not see to many good people around any more.. I hope you see this and know how grateful we are! Thank you so much. And we fully recommend you're store, there are LOTS of gratet Things at affordable prices. Best...

We had spent a lot of time trying to find somewhere to put our sola flower wedding bouquet to keep it safe. We were so happy to find a cabinet that was perfect for it at Boardwalk Thrift Store! The cabinet was in amazing condition and had an unbeatable price. Tim and Linda were so kind, helpful, and accommodating regarding our efforts in getting it in our car to take home.
