Came up from Cincinnati to visit friends and camp at Nimisila Reservoir. My partner and I didn't feel like cooking and didn't want fast food, so we took a chance on this little cafe. Got there about 9am on a Saturday and were able to place our order and seat ourselves immediately. Hallee (sorry, I should have asked how to spell it) was super helpful and friendly, without being aggressively cheerful first thing in the morning. She was great. We were able to wash our hands in their lockable and spacious bathrooms, browse some of the fun items available for sale, and had our meal delivered to our table within 10 minutes! I had a breakfast sandwich with smoked turkey breast (a thick piece!) and pepper jack on a biscuit. Being from the South originally I am pretty picky about my biscuits, but I was perfectly satisfied with this one! Moist and fluffy while also having enough substance and shape to hold together as a sandwich. The hashbrown was cooked fresh and was deliciously crisp, the macchiato wasn't too sweet/the espresso didn't taste burnt, and the chocolate muffin we split was insane. Plus, who doesn't want the option to have Sunny D with their breakfast?? So glad we decided to drive 15 minutes for a better breakfast option. I will have to find an excuse to come back here to try their burgers. 😃

Awesome atmosphere, fair prices, generous portions. Had a breakfast quesadilla, watching my weight so I opted for turkey bacon and sausage, WOW that was good. Side order of gravy and bacon loaded hashbrowns because I cant be *too* healthy(it didnt stand a chance 🤤). Fiancee got a big boy platter that I was too full to help her finish after having not been able to finish my last slice of quesadilla. To drink she had gotten an iced strawberry cheesecake coffee with a double espresso which had the perfect balance of coffee to strawberry being able to still taste fresh espresso with a smooth sweet strawberry cream finish. For my beverage we had a Hot cinnamon toast crunch double espresso coffee having the same smooth balance of flavor that the strawberry cheesecake presented. If you're considering giving them a try, know what you're there for. A local coffee shop with great food, kind staff, and a fair price for what they offer. All with a relaxing artistic environment. What it is NOT is a McDonalds that'll have your order ready before you place it. Plan to spend a little time enjoying a good meal or a refreshing pitstop to-go. I know I'll be back for mimosas and smoothies on the patio this spring.

1st time at A Walk in The Park Cafe, and was not impressed. The atmosphere was nice, customer painting for sale, and if you want to paint I guess this is your place to come. The waitress acted put out to wait on us, and especially when I asked for my bill. I guess you are supposed to order with the kiosk, but since I had never been there how would I know? Food was mid at best. Asked for over easy eggs, came out hard. The hash browns were frozen squares that tasted like the oil was old. You know that flavor. The pancakes were the best part of my meal, but it's hard to mess up pancakes. The place has a great concept, but you would of thought it would have been more fresh. I gave it a try, and I know there are better tasting places for breakfast. Hope other patrons have better success than I did!

I really wanted to like this place. I brought my mom here for her birthday and the place was decked out for Halloween, the atmosphere looked so cool. When we walked in the whole restaurant was smokey, like from them cooking. Smelled good at first but it became kind of obnoxious when you sit there for any length of time, and it was too cold to sit outside comfortably. We waited a while before a server came over. While we were ordering the server just seemed annoyed we were even there. As we are ordering, she tells us this and this and this are out. Normally you tell the customers in the beginning when you are out of items, especially when it is significant items like espresso at a cafe and the whole middle section of the menu is out. So we figured out what we wanted based off what was left and then the server says they are an hour behind... Okayyy, so we are willing to wait, the restaurant is cool and we don't mind. The last straw was asking the server to please wipe off the table. When we got there another employee told us we could sit at this table but it needed cleaned off. And it was the only available table so we sat down and waited. The server never acknowledged the table needed wiped off despite the very visible crumbs and messes on the table and was very rude to us when we asked for it to be wiped down. She said "it was already wiped down". Ok maybe it was but someone must have sat here since then and made a mess?? Like I don't understand, we have been very patient waiting to order, ordering off your limited menu, willing to wait the hour, but you still treat us so rudely. It was enough to make us leave before we even got our coffee. I feel like if it had been anyone else serving us we would have endured the smoke and menu and wait time, but she really just ruined the whole chance of us staying. Why should I spend my money and time at a place where I'm treated like an annoyance for even being there. Really disappointed. I have a lot of tolerance for servers because I know what they have to deal with but her attitude was entirely...

What an awesome nice Cafe in Firestone Akron. Geared towards mixing the art world with the food world with music. A cafe with a limited menu but that's all you need. The little music ambience but you can still hear and talk or talk on the phone and they don't mind at all. Free Wi-Fi seat yourself. All kinds of nice seating. Different seating setting by Windows seating in a little nook in the corner. As you can see from the pictures, there's all kinds of seating seating for more than one. I had a Firestone burger. Excellent. Would recommend the Firestone Burger. Run-of-the-mill fries but they're frozen fries, which is fine. The service was excellent. A Very diverse environment treated me very nicely. Respect all the way around. I would recommend all walks of life to visit this little nook in Akron. What a great atmosphere for a small group or just a single person or just a couple people. Not too far from 77. You can order via kiosk. They noticed when I walked in and was looking around I was there for the first time. Told me I could seat myself anywhere. They waited on me my server couldn't have been any polite or better than any person that I know of. The Firestone Burger is the best burger I've had in a long time. They served it the way I wanted it. They have all kinds of blank canvas artwork. You can purchase the stuff very cheaply in paint draw. Do whatever you want artistically while you're there, which I thought was an awesome idea to combine with the cafe and some food. 😀 They also have karaoke nights. Google maps took me exactly to The cafe. It is right across the street from a beautiful Park. I did not get a chance to walk the park but it looked good. 😀 So if you have Wi-Fi business to do or just want to make some art. You just want to go in and relax and get on your phone. Your tablet. Your computer do your work with a little bit of music. That's not too loud. It's great! I recommend that you check...

Easily the most Bohemian restaurant/art studio in the Akron area, A Walk In The Park Cafe in the Firestone Park Business District is a little bit restaurant, a little bit art studio and a big dose of whimsy in the decor and feel of the room. Upon entering, you are greeted by several large art installations; A large tree topped with glowing clouds, a single table surrounded by twinkling lights and hearts (February visit!) and plenty of knick-knacks and "objets d' art" spread about the room. At first glance, I think I'm in Seattle, pre-gentrification.

The breakfast menu is traditional with all the expected features, significant is the only $2.99 egg breakfast with bacon or sausage (that I'm aware of) in the city. Only one good piece of toast, but one good slice beats 2 bad ones IMHO. Coffee is reasonably priced, and tasty; There are expanded specialty coffee drinks also available.

My companion tried the pancakes and eggs and was surprised to receive 3 eggs, 2 healthy-sized pancakes and 3 crisp pieces of bacon. Omelettes and other items are also on the menu.

The Lunch and Dinner menus are broader and more eclectic, with burgers, quesadillas, salads and more. Feeling challenged? The "Extreme Bacon" sandwich looked interesting with 12 pieces of bacon, 2 eggs, lettuce and tomato. I'd order that one for sure, and would like to see it on the Breakfast menu as a signature item. The space is also used for art parties and other group events. If looking for something out of the ordinary, give A Walk In The Park...
