We headed up to Alaska for some salmon fishing. Started the trip visiting the temple first. My daughter and I had a great time spending the morning in the house of the Lord. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I love that all around the world you can go to a temple and feel like you're home.

What a great way to spend an evening with your family. The Spirit felt in the temple while with my family was beautiful. If you are visiting Alaska and Anchorage area in particular don't miss the opportunity to go to the temple. Call first because the hours of operation are limited

We were visiting Alaska and had to come check out this beautiful building. The grounds are well manicured and we had a peaceful walk around the building. It is probably the smallest temple I have been to but we were told they are building a new one that will be 3 times bigger!

This building is a beautiful part of our community and the high point of worship for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where marriages are performed and where families are united forever. The grounds are open for visitors and there's a wonderful peace here. It's different from the church next door, which is used for weekly service and worship and which is always open to everyone. This is a special and holy building, dedicated as a house of God where His Spirit can come, which is why such care was taken in it's construction and why entry is restricted. However, you can find pictures of the beautiful rooms online at the Church of Jesus Christ's website. The flower beds here are very pretty and are rotated throughout the year, and each winter there's a beautiful nativity featuring Mary, Joseph, and the...

Love this place. I have many family members who work in the temple, and many of us go and work in the temple to do sacred and holy work. I love being able to go there with my daughter who is now old enough to attend. Next year my son will be able to come with us, and we'll be able to go in as a whole family. The temple's such a wonderful place it's just spiritual feeling. I love...

Best place to be! Small scale temple. Has stairs up from entrance to the front desk, but I'd bet there is an elevator too. They don't have rentals, per say, but they do have a closet of clothing to borrow if you don't have clothing. So, just ask upon arriving in the dressing room. I love the that this temple is not very busy. The attendents are very accommodating...
