Let me start off just by saying that this trip was absolutely life-changing for me! The hardest part of planning a trip for me is making sure that I know where to go and what not to miss and effectively organizing that in my trip. I literally ONLY had to figure out how I was going to get there and Davis took care of everything else. The locations that we went were breathtaking and I don't think I'd have changed anything about it. The scenery of Alaska is like nowhere else that I've ever seen and Davis made sure that I was fully engulfed in the beauty the entire trip. I even got to see my first glacier in person! I was amazed at the organization and preparation that's put into these trips and Davis' attention to detail is immaculate. Hot coffee in the morning, fantastic gourmet grilled cheeses, pasta, meats & vegetables, etc. I didn't know you could eat so well in the wilderness! 🤣 but really, nothing could be more satisfying after a long day of hiking and exploring, that really was such a treat every time. We even stopped off into a field to pick some blueberries we saw on the side of the road! RL AK Outdoors is an exceptional company and Davis is SUCH a down-to-earth guy that could make anyone feel like home in the middle of the breathtaking wilderness that Alaska has to offer. He's clearly an individual that is passionate about sharing what he loves with others and made it incredibly fun & stress free. I left Alaska pretty much figuring out how soon I can come back and visit. Literally obsessed 😍 thank you SO much, Davis! From the moment our week long journey began, Davis went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. His knowledge of the Alaskan wilderness is unmatched, and his passion for the land, wildlife, and local culture shines through in everything he does.

What truly sets Davis apart, though, is how incredibly accommodating and thoughtful he is. Whether it was adjusting plans to suit my whims, making sure I was comfortable, sharing stories around the campfire, or helping me collect bags of rocks to take home and tumble, Davis made me feel like a welcome part of the adventure. And the food—wow! Every meal Davis prepared was absolutely delicious. Whether it was a hearty breakfast to start the day or a gourmet dinner after a long hike, each dish was full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with care. Davis, our guide was truly heaven sent! He went above just showing us around, he engaged in our vacation! He took us to many of the hidden gems that were totally spectacular, waterfalls views, special viewpoints of mountains, glaciers and rivers. He added many extra treats that were not even part of our package! Example, took us all around Anchorage and showed us the history of the town! We even stopped off beside the Alaska railroad tracks and picked raspberries! Davis also was a chef on the Alaska railroad for years… We stopped at a little area by a stream and he asked us to go out and explore for a while while he prepared a wonderful meal for both of us. His culinary skills are very very impressive! Another example of his knowledge as he took us gold panning and knew everything about it. And we actually found gold! He has so much knowledge and energy in what he is doing! We are very blessed to have him in our vacation! Davis Very conscious of communicating with us!
