What a great find! I stumbled across this studio by accident looking at a map for directions to another place, but it is clearly marked on the main road so it's easy to find if you head east out of town about five miles.
We were warmly greeted by the artist and had a great conversation with him. We're new to town and he seemed genuinely interested in hearing about what brought us to Homer. We also really enjoyed learning more about the community of artists here from him. He gave us some recommendations of places to check out in town which I am looking forward to doing.
And, of course, the pottery is beautiful. For a relatively small space, there was a lot to choose from with a wide range of colors, styles, sizes, etc. We are super happy with the large bowl, plate and coffee mug that we selected.

Paul himself took the time to demonstrate throwing a cup, answered all our questions, and made the experience fun for both my parents and my 4-year-old. Meeting the artist directly and buying from the source adds so much meaning to the pieces we took home.
