Will never go again. My pregnant wife tripped and fell inside at the entrance while holding our 18 month son. My wife fortunately fell on her side trying to protect the baby but my son was on the side she fell so his head bounced off their flooring with a loud thud. As I was trying to soothe my son and help my wife up, the man and woman stood at the front desk 20 feet away watching. They never came to help, offer assistance or even ask if they were okay. They stood there with a look on their face as if they were wondering if they were going to be sued. The raised 4" ledge is at the entrance as soon as you step through the door but the sign stating "watch your step" is where the useless poor excuses for humans were standing. We ended up driving to Anchorage and came home with a beautiful couch with excellent customer service. To the employees at Sterling Sadlers, be a good person first, then a salesman. Absolutely the...
Read moreSTAY AWAY FROM SADLERâS Furniture. Among other furniture, we bought a $1500 Lazy Boy leather recliner and in just over a year, the wooden piece holding the rocker broke. Sadlerâs has not apologized once, and this was an expensive piece of furniture. The staff member I spoke to in Anchorage was snotty; Someone from the Sterling store did come out to take pictures, but didnât offer to take the chair in his box truck for the repair. They said we would either have to pay $150 to have someone to pick up the piece or bring it in ourselves. Then we would be charged $95/hr for labor to have it fixed. The only person that uses the chair is an adult. This is ridiculous! If the chair were 10 years old I would understand, but to break after 1 year? Stay away from Sadlerâs, they donât back up their products or apologize when expensive pieces break. EDIT: We were contacted by Sadlers and they did fix the recliner. The Sterling store...
Read moreThank you for asking. . . We came in with a specific challenge for my husband, who is scheduled to have complex surgery on his right shoulder in the early days of October. We spent some time evaluating the different recliners, and with the help of your excellent salesperson, Frank, we selected a chair. But because the chair couldn't be delivered in time, we decided to go elsewhere. Somehow, Frank was able to accommodate our short-time frame, and we are happy to tell you that we are very pleased with the quality of the recliner we selected, and especially with Frank's help in accommodating our particular situation. You can bet we will be back to shop in your store in future. Sincerely, Mary G Anchor...
