There are no reasons why the products (produce specifically) should be at such low quality when the prices are at above premium store level. Tok is not a that remote: it is only a few hours away from Anchorage and so fresh and not about to expire products should not be difficult to get. Trouble is that this store has entered the realm of price gauging. It is the only store in town and so you pay for that. If they had an iota of respect for their customers they would, at the very least, provide good quality product for the price they charge. But low quality at high prices is what you will get here....

So we are biking through town and stopped last night after a 108 mile day. When we woke up we went over to this store and wow what a nice store. If you are driving through this is the best store you are going to find until you get to Fairbanks. If your going the other direction we’ll it is going to be longer then that. This place had a great selections of fresh produce, had stuff for your car, house hold cleaning supplies, a great selection of meat and let’s not forget the area for your adult beverage needs. The staff was very nice...

Best dohnuts in the state ( in my travels, best in the union)

A lot of Costco products broken up and repriced. Very useful.

Decent produce at arm and a leg prices.

Good little hardware section to save you that long drive to Fairbanks to finish a project.

Free coffee, and decent attitudes and customer service. Even compared to other three bear locations such as Healy , this one does...
