Holy HECK let me tell you I was willing to die for this pad thai. We came out of the back country surprised to find thai food and wanting to take it with us to our next camp. I am allergic to gluten and dairy and asked if they could accommodate. Request met with no concern (which is either really good, because they know what they're doing, or really bad, because they don't know/care). Food seemed expensive but when it arrived the portions were very generous (like, 4 meals conservatively divided, 3 for normalish people, 2 if you're heckin' hungry and 1 if you haven't seen thai food or people in many days lol). Food came out after a short wait since we were about the 4th party. It was so good that I was worried it wasn't gluten-free. Awesome flavor. Good ratio of noodles, chicken & other stuff. I stuffed my face and ended up eating the whole container by the end of the night. My partner loved his milkshake and chicken/ginger/rice dish with excellent garlic flavor. No issues at all or any indication of cross contamination or anything - perfect execution, really appreciate the dietary accommodation. I swear I can't wait to go back through this town on our travels because this food was so good. I made my travel partner promise and he agrees it was SO GOOD.

We found Soho Thai randomly while passing through Tok for the night and wow...what a great find! Thai food is a fav so we make it a point to try it when traveling and this was one of the best. We had the drunken noodles and the ginger chicken. Portions were gigantic and the price very reasonable. They offered a vast list of coffee drinks, smoothies and milkshakes as well. The folks in front of us were locals and had some really incredible looking shakes. We almost tried one but after seeing the amount of food served, glad we didn't this time. Thanks for a great meal!

Got a Chinese fried rice, Mongolian beef, and a tom kha…. VERY generous servings and everything was delicious. Came back the next morning for a few coffees before hitting the road, and they were just as delicious. And the owner was extremely accommodating to our 3yr old who wanted extra chocolate powder 👍🏻 We’ll definitely be coming back through on our next trip this way

I really wanted to love this place and had high hopes for the authentic Thai food. They had my favorite dish which I was excited to show my partner for the first time. We both ordered it. Mine came out well. His, which he ordered to be thai hot, came out completely flavorless with not a speck of spice. It was so confusing and disappointing because they made them at the same time and they were visibly much different colors in the sauce. It was also sitting there prepared with us waiting a long time before we had to go back up and ask for it. He threw the entire dish away because of how slow the service was and low confidence that anything could be done to fix it with their long line of other orders before close. I'm really sad and wish it were not so. I personally would give them another chance, but I don't think he would ever go back after...

Go here.

A Thai place this delicious is certainly unexpected in Tok. Grew up eating lots of Thai food in CA and WA. This is easily one of the best. We got the #25 Pae's special and the green curry. Both 10/10 and lots of veg. Got a Thai iced tea on the side which was also delicious. From the outside this place is very unassuming, but the inside is quaint.

At first, re: the prices I thought inflation was back at it again. Turns out they just give you SO much food. I can easily put down tons of food and this was definitely two meals worth.

I won't be through Tok very often but I can guarantee...
