This quirky establishment run by a local family out of a bus serves the widest variety of pizza styles I have ever seen in Alaska. If you can think of a topping combination and style, they will make it happen. For our first visit, we ordered a Detroit style pizza and the garlic bread sticks. We usually prefer a thinner crust pizza, but after recommendations to try one of the unique style offerings, we went for something new and really enjoyed it. The bread sticks were good, but not the star of the show and could be skipped for future orders. It is a little bit of a commute for us, but well worth the drive and we hope to return soon.

Some lower reviews here fault the owners for wait times and lack of service, but we received fantastic response times and communication from the owners. It is a small, family-run pizza place and they will make a typical order in under an hour, usually around 40 minutes. Although they close at 8PM, it would be unfair to expect them to consistently accept orders past 7:00-7:30PM. We were end-of-day customers and they treated us with kindness and incredible food, so I do believe that complaints regarding wait times and service are likely not the fault of...

Wagner's Pizza Bus is the best kept secret in Fairbanks when it comes to incredible pizza and an overall amazing experience! This hidden gem is well worth the 30 minutes drive from town, located at 24 mile of Chena Hotsprings Road, turn right then follow the Pizza Bus signs! They have a very diverse menu, offering Chicago Style deep dish and just about every other kind of pizza you can dream of! Not in the mood for pizza? No problem! They have many other kinds of food like bugers and wings, and my personal favorite POUTINE! It was delicious! Finish it off with a massive scoop of ice-cream for the perfect anytime of day meal. But wait, there's more than food here! There is a full 9 hole miniature golf course thats challenging yet doable for young kids. We had a blast, spent around 3 hours here playing, eating, and enjoying the beautiful fall scenery. This place is open year-round, so make plans to go and visit! Check out my pictures to see whats in store for you, as well as...

Peeked at Google real quick and it showed they were open. Yes we could have called before we left but we put our faith into Google. Got out there and they were closed. Called their # to see if maybe it was a fluke and no one answered. Nor did it say "we're attending blah blah not open." Reached out to them to say maybe advertise it a little more so people don't make the drive out there. I received a snarky message back saying "Google is not right about everything. And we always tell people to call first. In life things happen. And in this case we did advertise it on our Facebook today and last week." Not everyone has Facebook. To use that as your sole place to advertise when you're open/not isn't fair to those who don't use that platform of social media. But it's okay because we went to Hungry Robot instead. I'm sure they appreciated our $100+ order more than they would have. Haven't been here but won't be due to lack of...

Definitely get the deep dish pizza. It takes longer but the regular pizza isn't anything special. We also got a milkshake, which was delicious. It was too cold and snowy to eat outside and there are no other options for indoor seating so, we took our pizza back to our igloo at the Reindeer Ranch. It was only a few minutes away. Otherwise eat it hot in your car. This looks like a fun place to come when it is warmer. There is mini golf and more to do. Loved supporting them in the colder months.
