The first time we used A-Team Plumbing we had them install a kitchen faucet. 5 minutes after they left I discovered the cold spigot was hot and the hot spigot was cold. They said the next time they were in the area they would fix it. That was over two years ago. It was never fixed. The second mistake we made was using them last spring to install a frost free spigot by our garden and remove a frost free spigot by our garage. They charged us $2,000.00 for this service. The spigot is 5 - 10 degrees off vertical (Not Straight Up and Down). I was not happy with this but we tend to not be complainers. So spring turned to summer and summer turned to fall. There is a shut off valve housed in a small barrel (for lack of a better term) buried in the ground with a metal lid. I removed the lid to shut off the water going to the spigot so it would not freeze as they instructed and it was filled with water. I tried to replace the lid but it would not go back on properly. I called them and told them about the water and the lid not going back on. They charged us over $100 to check for a leak and to put the lid back on properly. The person they sent said it was ground water (Understandably) but was unable to put the lid on correctly and told my wife he did the best he could. When I came home from work I walked up to the spigot and the lid was nowhere near being put on correctly. I called the office and they said someone would call me back. They never did. I called and left several messages and was ignored. I recommend that if you are in need of a plumber please look elsewhere. Rob, the owner is great. I left a voicemail on a Sunday regarding my mother's hot water tank emergency. She lives two hours away from me, and I was attempting to help her. Rob called back right away, and continued to communicate with me through the process of getting the information that he needed so that he could replace the tank. He and his daughter guided us through the process, asking for the necessary information and providing us with the information that we needed to know, and he installed a tank for her the very next morning. Rob worked with us long distance through phone interaction and texts, also calling my mother to keep her in the know regarding installation, cost, location, his estimated arrival time, etc. Rob also called me the next morning after he finished putting in my mother's hot water tank. He told us to call whenever she needed help because he performs various tasks, and enjoys working with his clients. It is so reassuring to know that we can call A-Team Plumbing and More, and that we don't have to call several people in hopes to get reliable, safe, and friendly help for my mom. Having a familiar maintenance person at the door (which was the entrance that I indicated in my instructions/suggestions that Hayley and Rob noted and remembered) who treats my mother with respect and communicates with both of us is such a great feeling. Rob's kind and quick service made my life and my mom's situation so much easier, and now I know my mother and I have someone to call who answers back and continues to communicate with us through the process. Initially I called Ed from A-Team Plumbing in to replace a tub spout and to repair a leaky toilet. He was friendly, cheerful, and quick to replace the tub spout which had its diverter valve frozen by hard water deposits. However, when asked to repair my old Crane toilet, he suggested that he might replace it with a newer, more efficient American Standard toilet because replacement parts were sometimes hard to find with Crane toilets. And my Crane toilet was pretty old and used more water than modern toilets. I agreed to Ed's suggestion and he returned a week or so later with a nice, shiny American Standard toilet. I was so pleased that Ed installed the new toilet quickly and efficiently, and hauled away the old Crane toilet with little fuss. I am very pleased with Ed's friendly manner and prompt completion of assigned tasks. A-Team Plumbing did a good job of sizing up my plumbing needs, offering alternatives, and following through on tasks.
