Food Lion — Local services in Albany

I stopped by the new Food Lion on North Slappey for the grand opening and again this past Sunday. I love the new look and the cleanliness of the store! Both times I was greeted with smiles! One of the employees provided me with an updated list of each aisle so that I would be able to find my favorite items. The produce area was very clean and appealing. My mother who lives in Parrott, GA drove to Albany to shop there....she had already warned me that their meat market has the best pork chops and boy....she never lied! I purchased some just to try them out. I must admit their pork chops were very tender and delicious. Several of the guys in their meat market that was there when the store was Harveys are always friendly and professional! Food Lion has definitely become my number 1...

Since food lion took over all of the harveys locations in albany I have had nothing but issues. In particular with anything dairy, bread, and especially meat related. I just purchased 3lbs of ground beef that cost me $13 and it went bad in ONE day. 24 hours after purchase and I had to throw Away the entire tray of meat. I haven't even opened the package yet and had to basically throw my money in the trash. That's not including the bread I purchased that was stale when I opened it, nor the milk that had basically coagulated prior to opening that as well. I was at the radium springs store 2 weeks ago , as I checked out a guy was standing there with a cell phone pointing at me.Today I checking out and the bag man did not have a phone at firs but some one called and I looked behind me and the other from the other week was staring at me from the kitchen area. I looked up this guy had a cell phone pointed at me as I placed my credit inside for check out, I need to talk some one or I am getting the police involved...
