Jack's Truck Stop — Local services in Albany

Leaves some room for what you would expect from a 24/7 truck stop. Coffee, smokes, soda pop, beer, sandwiches, even some hot food of course during the late night/ early morning hours there is not as much hot foods available as there are during the day.

The staff are somewhat friendly and helpful. The doors are open and so far I have not found much of any reason to complain.

As of 6/6/2021 that has changed. After months of friendly banter of a working nature sort I came in one day to make some purchases and was scolded by one of the staff. I was told that apparently I had complained about something to one of the staff and that this complaint had irritated the staff in question to such an extent that any further complaints would lead to my being banned from the Truck Stop. I told them that I had no idea what they were talking about and that I can save them the formality of banning me and just quit coming through the doors of their business. This is a sad...

I've been a truck driver for 20 years. Use to park here fairly often and meet with my family to go get meals or visit..... Unfortunately the some poor attitude female employee tried to extort me out of money to park there. After I told the her to get bent, they called the cops. Seems pretty unethical and out of nowhere to try and charge truckers money to park without having anything posted about it. Wonder why that's never happened the hundreds of other times I've parked there? Hmmm well definitely be discussing this with the owner. Pretty sure somebody is gonna be looking for...

How much are you being charged to park there?? Since when did they put in plainclothes security?? Not once ANYWHERE did I see a sign saying you had to pay to park. But in the middle of the night after I had finally gotten my kid to sleep, banging on the side of the truck was still old guy and some old lady said we had to pay them or get out. They even called the cops. Can someone tell me WHERE the signs address that state you have to pay random people in the parking lot??? I would give them LESS then 1 star, but that's...
