I am very disappointed in this company. I started taking my baby there three to four times a week to play and after about 6 weeks or so there was a new girl (to me) at the front desk and she wasn't very friendly. She informed me it was time to pay. I told her that I would talk to the girl I usually deal with because I thought I had another day because I had recently paid for some boarding as well as daycare. I did not encounter this girl again for about a month and when I did she was rude again, not speaking to my dog and when my dog barked at her dog that was sitting behind her in the chair she raised her voice to him. She informed me again it was time to pay for another set (meaning another week) and I didn't say anything back to her because I was very upset she had raised her voice to my dog. I didn't have time to take him back home before work and I didn't want him to be mistreated. I asked how long she had been there and she informed me while rolling her eyes that she has been there part time longer than anyone else there ( over 5 years I think she said). I quit taking my dog at that point and waited to see if I would call and see what was going on and they did not of course. I was very surprised I didn't hear from Bri because she was always VERY sweet to my baby! I called the week before Labor Day to schedule a boarding and Brandy, the new office manager asked if she could call me back because it was so busy and I said yes. She had Andrea call me to tell me they were booked. Andrea being the rude one and I am sure she was thrilled to call and tell me that. I called Brandy back and asked her to please have the owner call me because I was very disappointed in the way I was being treated after the money I had spent at their business. She called me back and said the owner was on call for 2 days and his wife said he would call me as soon as he could. It has been 2.5 weeks and still no phone call. I manage a business and I would certainly respond to someone that had a legitimate complaint You would think they would like to keep steady customers! Read moreThe only reason I’m even giving it a one star is because that’s the only way I could warn anyone about this place.. I have two labradoodles whom absolutely loves ppl, contact and water. I’ve used petsmart for grooming with both of them before and wanted a more personal feel.. so I attempted to change. petsmart always talks about how well behaved my boys are.. I dropped the boys off at 730 this morning and didn’t get a follow up call. The office closes at 6 and by 5 I was worried about them.. I go in asking about them and the (if you wanna call him ) groomer proceeds to tell me that my boys unruly, hates water, and he wasn’t able to do anything but wash them. They were kennel dried and apparently had not been let out to potty all day. Both boys relieved themselv for longer than normal. The receptionist very defensive at my voiced concerns. She began shaking papers at me saying he was overbooked.. when clearly they booked us knowing this. Then tried charging 100 dollars for shampooing.. When I pick my dog up after a night of boarding, I want to feel confident my dog has been well cared for. At Magnolia Pet Resort and Spa, that cannot be said after my dog's single night stay. I left my dog there with specific and very simple instructions to feed her the food I provided in the morning and treats I provided in the afternoon. What I found when I picked her up was that she was not fed our food or the treats accordingly which instantly makes me questioned if she was fed at all. Paying such a high price for boarding, I expect excellent care. I spoke to the owner who made no efforts to rectify the situation, only justifying the mistakes made towards my dog by saying they were likely made by "untrained employees". Safe to say I have had a poor experience here and will not be using Magnolia Pet Resort and Spa...
