What a terrific experience! I chose Modern Gas for my chimney sweeping based on my cousin’s recommendation, now I am doing the same for others with chimney issues. Hire these guys! My 63-year-old chimney was shedding chunks of debris into my fireplace. I was worried about its structural integrity and so I called Modern Gas. The team came over and were fabulous. They were unfailingly, friendly and polite, and very professional and efficient. They checked out and cleaned the inside of my chimney and secured my wonky damper and also inspected the exterior of the chimney on my roof, and made sure the cap was secure. As it turns out, the interior of my chimney was fine, but the exterior bricks and mortar were beginning to fail. That is something I never would’ve considered. They are getting back to me with an estimate on addressing that, and I will definitely use them for any and all repairs. I have lung disease, and I was concerned about the sooty dust, but they left my home spotless and my chimney no longer rains debris into my fireplace. The team and their work is first-rate. Modern gas is the benchmark for top quality people, products and service. We ordered a Saber grill and a Frigidaire gas convection stove for our house in July. The communication was amazing with their staff. Will and Marquise came to our house on a Friday at 6 PM to do the install. They had called and communicated an issue with a previous install they were working on and that they would be late. They never once complained about working late on a Friday or show any signs of frustration. They were top notch on the service and did a fantastic job on the install. The Saber grill they installed is absolutely amazing and is the BEST gas infrared grill in the world. We cooked two amazing and juicy filet mignon’s that would rival any Atlanta steakhouse. I’m writing to share my experience on February 17th. I came in the store to purchase an appliance. I went outside to the tent and measured every refrigerator to find my proper height. No one came to offer me any assistance. I then went inside looked at refrigerators, measured several refrigerators. No one offered me any assistance. While I was measuring refrigerators I heard a person come in the store and one of the salespersons ask him if he needed any help. Now you promote Shopping & buying local and I try to do that. But I feel I didn’t get the respect I was entitled to. I ultimately bought a refrigerator I had to go stand at the counter and ask for some help.
