Bluebird Spa — Local services in Albuquerque

I was in town for business and needed some work done on my back. I get lower back pain when sitting on flights too long and I usually support local massage businesses like this. I was staying nearby so I just googled this place near me. I called and asked if they take walk ins and they said yes. So I arrived a few minutes later. Everything seemed cool until the lady asked me to pay upfront for my massage. I was taken back a little bit because never have I been asked this even overseas and I've had nearly hundred massages over my lifetime. This was asked of me after I had already gotten on the table as well and was already comfortable. So I was pretty annoyed and felt disrespected. So I showed her my cash and ability to pay but said I will not pay or tip until her job was done. And i explained to her that this bad for your business and that I would be writing a review. We chit chatted throughout our 60 minute session but it ruined my experience. The massage was decent, nothing extraordinary and I still tipped her extra $20 because I still support these businesses. So I hope you take this as a lesson to never judge or be biased towards your customers and future patrons. I will never come back here and will tell...

Oh my goodness, these guys are the best ever. If I could I'd give them 100/10. My job requires heavy lifting and they did the BEST at massaging my aching legs and hands.
