Luu's Nails — Local services in Albuquerque

Went here 2 days ago to get a overlay on my regular long already shaped nails , older lady on station 3 did my nails . Next thing you know I feel her filing on my finger tip , she had filed my nails short! The. When i told her claimed it was my nail length she was just filing the acrylic LIE ! I compared my unfiled nails to the ones she was doing she asked if I would like tips!!? I said NO I have had this service done before and never had had someone reshape and file my nails this short especially after i said leave everything the same i just was clear acrylic overlay . So horrible my finger nail edges hurt from the filing, acrylic was on my cuticles and the shape is not even the same on each hand and to top it off filed them crooked ! Horrible horrible service over 30 dollars waisted ! Called back the same day and the next to speak to the manager or owner because when i asked for them before she finished she said not in today now claimed they are on vacation...

So many people had suggested this place. I don't know why. I have never been to a nail shop that pops off nails with other Nails instead of soaking in acrylic remover to remove them. The lady that I dealt with was in Booth three. She cut my nails way too short. Then proceeded to ask me how short did I want them after she already cut them. My nails are very long and did NOT require tips. Now I will have to at least wait 2 weeks to go somewhere else to get them done at the length that I desired prior to coming here. She then proceeded to put the acrylic on and when I asked if she could put a TOUCH more acrylic she put so much so, that it looks like I have Bubble nails on 4 out of the 10 nails. Then when it came to the painting I asked her to make sure that she filled in the sides, this sides are still missing gel polish. Then the clear polish doesn't even cover the whole nail. I was loving my pedicure until I got home and realized my big toe had the imprint of my sandal on it. I did not put my sandal on and before it was put on me, I had waited for 10 minutes. The guy who did my pedicure was the one who did it :( He could have fixed it instead of letting me go home with messed up polish. I needed my eyebrows cleaned up just a little. I told the lady that I like the shape. She said "I already know what I want to do." As she was doing my eyebrows she rested her hand on my lips. It was so awkward. She pinched my eye lid twice with the tweezers. When she finished I looked in the mirror and she had completely changed the shape and thinned my eyebrows out.
