Fitzpatrick's Hardware Do It Best — Local services in Alpena Township

I truly appreciate this store and the staff there-in. I’ve been in and out of Fitzpatrick’s, Ace Hardware, Home Depot, and Tractor Supply. Fitzpatrick’s people are the only ones that always acknowledge me and help with enthusiasm. This means a lot as a female in a hardware store that seems to go unnoticed in bigger stores. (Not shaming TS tho bc they have been good to me also.) Brownie points to Fitzpatrick’s bc a gentleman working there thought to tell me about rebar to help meet my needs when I explained what I needed. The gentleman was attentive, creative, and he cut the rebar without additional cost. Another time I came back for more, a young man was really working hard without complaint and the inside guy was super helpful despite being understaffed. The rebar/cutting was not a big money maker for them, but it will certainly make me come back time and again. I also noticed that their brick prices seem lower than all the other stores. I want to give a huge shout out to the staff of Fitzpatrick Hardware. I've been shopping there for a while and have always had good and friendly service. Today's experience was nothing less. I left there feeling as a valued customer. Their service was nothing less than 110% . Each and every staff member I met today greeted us with a smile and took professionalism to the next level. Excellent equipment rental. Built my pole barn renting an excavator, tractor, and Haulotte lift from here over several weekends. The online reservation system is super easy - handles everything from payments to insurance and delivery in one place. The delivery crew was fantastic. John provided great training and instructions for each piece of equipment, always on time, and had no problem navigating dirt roads to my forested property. Pickup service was equally reliable.
