As a former Cub Scout who eventually achieved the esteemed rank of Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor in the Order of the Arrow, I have had the privilege of witnessing the incredible transformation and growth that Alpine Scout Camp offers to young Scouts. This camp holds a special place in my heart, and I can't express enough how instrumental it was in shaping my Scouting journey.
My earliest memories of Alpine Scout Camp are filled with excitement and anticipation. As a Cub Scout, this place felt like a magical oasis in the woods, where adventure and learning converged. The well-organized programs catered to Scouts of all ages, helping each of us develop essential skills while having an absolute blast. Whether it was learning how to tie knots, navigate the wilderness, or even cook over an open fire, the experienced staff made the learning process engaging and fun.
What truly sets Alpine Scout Camp apart is its commitment to the principles of Scouting, including the development of character, leadership, and service. The camp's dedication to instilling these values in young Scouts is nothing short of exemplary. The nurturing environment, the mentorship of older Scouts, and the friendships formed during my time here played a pivotal role in shaping me into a responsible and ethical leader.
As I advanced through Scouting ranks, my experience at Alpine Scout Camp evolved. Participating in Order of the Arrow ceremonies and experiencing the Vigil Honor induction here were life-changing moments. These experiences not only strengthened my connection to Scouting but also deepened my appreciation for the rich traditions and heritage of this organization.
The natural beauty of the camp's location, nestled in the heart of the wilderness, added to the allure of Alpine Scout Camp. The serene lakes, dense woodlands, and the soothing sound of rustling leaves created a serene atmosphere that allowed Scouts to connect with nature in a...

Iāve camped there many times, and enjoyed the different activities the camp had, as well as the beautiful forest and woods the site had to offer. Additionally, Camp Alpine is a good place to host important ceremonies. For example the pictures I attached were from my time leading an Eagle Scout ceremony with my troop 86 of tenafly. Also, I saw some swimming pools and other impressive displays. Overall, I highly recommend this place for not only Scouts but for families friends and everyone else to have a good time at this lovely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is, by far, the best Scouting facility I have ever seen. The fort, ship, archery and BB gun ranges, pavilions, dining hall, everything was well maintained and had friendly staff to assist.
I have been to Camp No-Be-So-Co, Camp Glen Gray, and Camp Bullowa, and as far as I can tell the only thing missing from Alpine Scout Camp is a big lake for fishing. Otherwise, it has EVERYTHING else you scouts would enjoy. Even the bathrooms were nice and clean. I am so impressed and I hope when my son moves on to Boy Scouts he will get...
