A new gift to West Texas. We were lucky to drive into Marathon last November after a Big Bend guy’s trip during Desert Ghost’s opening week and met the creator Cody Roberts and the rest of his crew who were all exceptional hosts. After dinner at the Gage, this was the perfect spot to not only have a few cocktails, but to be also gifted with Cody’s stories and education of his forefathers and his distilling experiences — all while being serenaded by live music. . All the bourbons were great, but I think the majority of the bottles we bought for later consumption were the Honey Bourbon which was exceptionally smooth and easy drinking. Well worth the visit or at least a purchase. We are already planning to re-visit and re-load our bar supplies...

Excellent drinks are made by people who clearly care about what they’re doing. Great place to hang out, learn a bit, and sip on something quality. I'm definitely coming back.

I wanted a bottle and even though they were low on stock, the bartender found a bottle for me. The night consisted of great drinks, live music, and a west Texas sunset.
