Mountain Super Market — Local services in Alpine

The market grows on you in time. The people who work there are very friendly and payment is super efficient. If you are in a pinch and really need something you may find it there. They have a little of everything. Seriously. Prices on some items are a bit high but....you're not having to drive 15 minutes down the mountain. Now I think they would increase their business 1000 % if the owner would toatally remodel the store, modernize but keep the quaint small town feel. Make it very clean, revamp/replace the coolers and create a smoother flow. There are great models out there to mimic. Barons, Ralphs, Lidl, Aldi? Mountain Market could blow them away. Make it super clean with some good prices and more food selection, FRESH PRODUCE, inviting meat counter and I would change my 3% a week shopping there to 80%. That's alot of...

Stocked just well enough to be useful and that’s about it. Selections to choose from are very limited and a bit pricey but that’s obviously due to the location and size of the community. I’m not suggesting this is a bad place to shop, I just felt a little disappointed there wasn’t more. I will say the cashier was very friendly and helpful. Also after about 6pm this is about the only option you have that stays open if you need anything. This place is a godsend for campers. Firewood, eggs, batteries, cash from the atm, hiking socks, sunblock, medicine... whatever you forgot, this place has it.
