On 4/12/2023 I had a Xray-GI visit. I gotta say the xray technician Pam was very down to earth and very patient with my questions about certain ingrediants that I was having to drink per my Xray activity that was to be performed (the stuff taste nasty),Anyways she had taken her time and went over the details with me. At another point and time Dr. Rieke came in and he was cool and down to earth too, he look like he can be on sombody swat team but he was professional, caring, coolđ and kind. Also, due to my question about the radiation usuage, both Dr. Rieke and Pam explained the amount of radiatiom usuage that was going to be used; so once again, they were patient with me askinf questions .There was also another individual named Selma she was cool, she adds diversity to the team and she was the one that walked me to the room when they called me, but coming 2 find out she works for that dept, we got to talkin while I was waiting to take my next xray shots, she suggested some places where I can get some authentic Mexican food per me being from L.A. county,Cali. We all was laughing and I was so greatful for the patient experience that I had.I happen to ask to speak to their manager because of my experience. One of their mangers name is John and he came up to speak to me, Im glad he wasn't one of those stiff no face emotion managersđ he was cool and I got a chance to express to him how I appreciated his team. Who ever read this have a Victorious day, you Winđđ„łđŻin JESUS name. Praise God for your new...

Read moreI came to St Anthonyâs tonight. As a medical professional, who very recently worked in ER, I can say this ER needs some help/ guidance / training??? This was my first time coming to this hospital, but now that I live in Alton, I wanted to go somewhere close to home. BIG MISTAKE. I gave one star because the nurse who triaged me was very kind. And she listened. Once I got placed in a room, 5A I believe. I Sat there for 1 hour before I went to the nurseâs station to see if they had forgotten about me. At the nurses stations, there were like 7 nurses. Eating food, chatting it up, having a good ole time. And Iâm thinking to myself (none of them had the time to come greet me and /or let me know the doctor is very busy). The nurse on the phone says sheâll âtry to see when the doctor will see meâ and says they only have one doctor. Other smaller hospitals have one doctor(and an NP) and Iâve never waited this long to be seen. After almost 2 hours, I just left. Like there should be some kind of protocol. Obviously there was no emergency because all the nurses were at the desk! Like this is unacceptable. I will be filing a complaint with the hospital. This was my first and last time going to...
