Alton Little Theater — Attraction in Alton

Really nice small theater. Very quaint old bldg but lends itself nicely to a comfortable lobby to gather in. A limited offering of drinks and snacks but you are able to bring drinks into the theater. Love their wine sippy cups! The theater is laid out well and there is ample room to walk between seats. You are able to sit right at the stage in the first row which is fun. I've also sat in the last row and I can say there are no bad seats in the house. The staff and actors are always very pleasant and welcoming. For a community theater,they were excellent! The sound was good enough that you could hear everything. It is a small venue and there a just a few seats that a person with mobility issues would be able to access. The ramp from the parking lot to the door is quite long and steep near the top- but at least it is provided. They do need to clip the bushes as they make using the handrail difficult. The schedule had been changed, and supposedly, an email had been sent about the change. No one in the group of 8 that I was with had received an email.
