Davis Appliance On the Beach — Local services in Alys Beach

So I bought a used front washer, little did I know the from ring was broken which in turn was pouring water all over my floor , I went to Davis on the beach to get a part ordered , the lady there was very professional, I described what I needed ( not very well I might add ) I mean I know nothing about washer and dryer repairs she ordered my parts by my very bad description, and I set an appointment to have someone (Gregory ) come by a few days later . Fast forward to today , Friday 6/12/2020, Gregory calls and let’s me know he will be on his way and we discuss the issue further , after our conversation he let me know I ordered the wrong part , honestly we were kinda close by my frustrated description I had in fact ordered an inside ring ( hell didn’t realize there were two) but he assured me it wasn’t a problem that he had a ring for it and if I would like he would leave it at the house for me if I wanted to put it on myself as it was a very easy fix . He explained how to do it and I agreed I could most likely do that ( was very easy as he stated) short and long of this long winded post is they went above and beyond to make this as easy and cost effective as possible thank you...

While at a recent stay at a relatives condo we incurred a small leak in the clothes washer. The repairman diagnosed a leaking seal on the front loader. He ordered the part and said it would take a week for it to come in.

We specified that it was important that the part come in while we were at this residence. We were only to stay for a week and a half and the owners were not going to be there after that time.

Two months later back home we received a notice from the company. They had received the part and wanted compensation: install the part or pay the service call fee and restocking fee.

There was no reasoning with the woman who said she was the owner. She demanded all fees or retribution would follow. I couldn't believe my ears at the demands. It was two months later and we thought they just dismissed the whole repair job. No one had contacted us or the owners of the condo to inform of the part delay.

I reluctantly paid the entire bill to keep myself free from bitterness. I am free and they will be responsible for their own lack of character and...

We had an incident with our gas top stove and the ignitor would not stop after cleaning. The stove was pulled out from the wall and unplugged to stop the ignitor. Called Davis Appliance and they were booked out for one week. This company was highly recommended by trusted resources and we waited for the service. Zach called prior to arrival on the scheduled date. He was so knowledgeable and helpful, provided education about the gas top and how to properly clean the surface and surrounding area to prevent this situation. He also took the time to pull out our refrigerator and educated us on the need to check the back of the refrigerator annually, to insure there is no leakage from the ice maker. He definitely went above and beyond our expectations and provided us with so much information. He shared that the business was family owned and the history of military service this family has given to our country. What a blessing to have the opportunity to support local business and get the very best of service. GRATEFUL for ALL...
