UPDATE: I originally gave Factory Direct Furniture a 5 star review based on the sales process alone. It was very smooth, and they were very professional. Of course we received top-notch service during the sales process because they wanted our service. Well, NOTHING has went smoothly since then. We bought our furniture the end of September and they didn't have all the pieces to deliver until the end of January. I understand their hands are tied due to delays with the manufacturer (especially with COVID), HOWEVER their communication was very poor during the 4 months waiting time. We were told several times our delivery date was on track, only to be pushed out by weeks again. The beginning of December we were told our furniture shipped from the manufacturer and was in progress of being delivered to them. Several weeks later, I was told the manufacturer hasn't shipped it yet? I truly believe the furniture I ordered that was shipped to them in December was re-sold to another customer and they had to re-order it, but of course they will not say this. FINALLY they receive all the pieces the end of January and we schedule a delivery date. I called 2 days ahead to ensure we were on track for delivery and all the pieces would arrive with out any issues, because we live out of town and had to travel in for the delivery. I received reassurance this was the case. WELL, the delivery guys were late without any call to notify us, they delivered the wrong dresser and had to go back to get the correct one, AND they did not bring another piece we ordered and said they would bring it by in the evening because we had to leave the next day. Well, after no call we had to contact them AGAIN and was informed by the delivery guys that they were told to go home for the evening without fulfilling our order. Factory Direct had literally MONTHS to ensure our items were correct and delivery was seamless, but they failed at almost every point. How difficult is it to compare our invoice to what is loaded on the truck prior to delivery? We paid thousands of dollars for this furniture, were very patient with them when we didn't receive great service after they took our money, and now we have to leave out of town without our full order. Avoid the headache, and order your furniture from another more reliable establishment.

When we initially bought, we furnished our living room with a (discontinued) sage green microfiber (super easy to clean) Ashley love seat and sleeper sofa set from Lindsey's. Spent $800 total on both. We finally replaced in Jan 2019. The set was functionally fine! But 8 full spring/summer rental seasons had left the set worn looking.
We decided to make the leap into "better" furniture specifically geared toward rentals. We spent over $4k on a new sleeper, love seat, pillows and occasional chair from Factory Direct, in their Sunbrella fabric made to take the rough seasonal rentals.
It's been 6 months and the set looks cheap, dingy and yes it has stains that are a pain to get out. Can I get them out maybe with a lot of elbow grease? Sure. Does my housekeeper have time on a Saturday Turn Day to do that? No.
Save your money. I could get a new (cheap) discontinued Ashley Furniture Set from Lindsey's every 2 1/2 - 3 years and spend the same amount of money (but based on past experience, probably wouldn't need to). I miss my old stuff and spent a lot more money for the trouble.
I'm not saying the stuff isn't durable - I am sure it is, if I were personally taking care of it. But it certainly doesn't look nice, it's certainly not as comfortable (no where near as comfortable), and it certainly requires a lot of work to remove stains (I think they can be removed, really not sure yet), so unless you are personally cleaning your own unit, it's not happening.

Read moreFurniture Direct is the best furniture store ever! We originally spoke to Rod the owner for our new condominium in Panama City for a mattress. We were informed that they have a new location in Destin where we were staying. We met Kenneth at the Destin location who is absolutely terrific. They did not have the mattress that we wanted in store so Kenneth called his sister right over to cover the store so that he could go and get the mattress within 10 minutes. The mattress showroom is on the second floor. My fiancé has pending knee surgery so Kenneth offered to assemble the bed on the first floor so that he would not have to walk up one flight of stairs!
We are mattress experts with $10,000+ mattresses at our home. We wanted an inexpensive mattress for the Panama City condominium. The price was the lowest we could find anywhere including online and the quality is superior hotel grade mattresses. We also needed same day delivery and the in house deliverymen stayed until we arrived after 5:00 PM to assure our delivery.
