Fox Hollow Golf Club — Local services in American Fork

​Have you been golfing before or want to try it out? If so you are going to want to go to Fox Hollow Golf Club in American Fork, Utah. I have been golfing for about four years now, and this is one of my favorite courses to play. It is very family friendly and they make you feel welcome and exited to be there to golf! This course keeps its greens nice and always cut for you and it always looks pretty. The course is very open and gives you a lot of space to hit the golf ball unlike other courses where there so many trees and you hit the ball and can’t find it. Here it’s not like that; you can find your ball if you happen to slice or hook it.

​ You can’t beat the food here it is really good. So, before or after you golf you need to stop in at the snack bar and grab something to eat. Do you want to go hit golf balls at night? Well, here you can cause at their driving range; they have lights so you can go late at night and work on your hitting and improving your golf shot. For you first time golfers that want to play well this is the spot because they offer lessons here with great teachers and they are very flexible with your schedule. The best is they help you from step one and make you understand the ways of golf. I know because this is where I learned to play, and they helped me out tremendously. The golf carts here are always nice and they keep them very clean. I have been to some golf courses where their golf carts are dirty and not kept nice. You won’t find that here; they make sure they are spotless so you enjoy your round of golf for the day.

​The one bad thing that I have is that they have some new scooter golf carts and to use them instead of a golf cart is pretty expensive, but hopefully as the newness wears off the price will go down. Overall that’s the only bad thing I have for this course. I highly recommend coming here to play golf and especially for the first-time golfers. Fox Hollow Golf Course in American Fork is one of those courses that always makes for an enjoyable round. It’s got a nice mix of holes that keep things interesting, with a layout that works for both casual golfers and those who want a little challenge. The setting is beautiful, with great mountain views and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to forget about anything other than your next shot.

The greens are in great shape right now—smooth, consistent, and rolling true. You can tell they put in the work to keep them well-maintained, which really makes a difference in the overall experience. The tee boxes are mostly in good condition, though a few could use a little extra attention. It’s nothing that ruins the game, but you’ll notice some spots are a bit rough compared to others.

The fairways are generally well-kept, and there’s enough variety here to make you think about your club selection instead of just swinging away. Pace of play is usually pretty good, which I appreciate, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

All in all, Fox Hollow is a solid choice for a round in Utah County. Great greens, a fun layout, and a beautiful location make it worth coming back to...

I’m giving it 4 stars because it has so much potential. Currently the course is improved much from last year (2022), especially the greens which are looking great and holding shots. The staff in the Pro Shop needs a little etiquette and professionalism upgrade. They were out of scorecards, and electrolyte drinks. The water out on the course in the coolers was disgusting. Tasted so much like old plastic and dirt I was afraid to drink it. The golf carts were constantly chirping at us with advertisements, speed limit infractions-going 10 in a 5 on the path with no one around which is ridiculous as the carts are speed limited anyway. Too bad because the layout is great and a good test of golf. Range is matts only which sucks. Practice green doesn’t have a flat lie putt on it and is way too small. Also a lot quicker than the actual greens which where somewhat inconsistent in speed. I hope someone in charge is a real golfer and knows what to do. Would love to try it again...
